The People's Congress; allowing citizens to pass or vore down laws.

Should the voting public be allowed to vote on federal laws using digital technology?

I heard a US Congressman once speculate technology was soon getting to the place where people would be able to vote on legislation directly. An interesting concept.

Assuming the technology was solid and ironclad safeguards against fraud were in place, would your support allowing the American public make up a third house of congress whereby 2 of the 3 (The House, The Senate and the public) could pass laws?

No. For two reasons: there is no such thing as an unhackable and completely safe system, and we do not want direct democracy.

Direct democracy would be a disaster. But voting on propositions is okay.
