That diversity is some sort of strength no it's not not in the military unity is. Diversity for the sake of diversity so you can virtue signal about how stupid and work you are that's a wrench in the works. It's a distraction. In a multicultural egalitarian society how is diversity a weakness? Diversity is the basis of the society that the military is pulling from and so wash out fox news host saying that diversity is not a strength is fascist... because we know what he is actually talking about.

This is where you say people who don't accept your brain dead ideas that can't possibly exist are racist right?

When that's the only weapon in Your arsenal it kind of takes away your ability to rationalize.

Meaning when you say something is racist it has no value you have overused that word to the point where it means nothing.
 
Diversity is largely overrated. It make for a great human rights slogan but the reality is that it is counterproductive. If you look at the Japanese Kaizen for continuous quality improvement you will find that they're trying to eliminate diversity so they can focus on the core tasks and meticulously make small system and process improvements that are repeatable. If you look at America's workforce, how many among us actually have jobs that require creativity and innovation? Maybe 20% at most. Most people have cookie cutter jobs where they closely follow an established process and we get ding for deviating from the status quo. This is especially true in the military. Lives are at stake, we expect the war fighter to know his/her job and follow it to the letter.

Many, thanks to their fortitude and thanks be to God. But they didn't have an easy time integrating the armed forces and some people want to continue to make it harder on them and on other people of color to rise in the military.

JFK made it a point to bring black people into the Coast Guard (although I assume back then it was only men) when he noticed at his Inauguration that it looked all Caucasian.

The U.S. isn't supposed to be a "wild society," and neither is it's military. A productive society is an amalgam of the pasts of it's members. an alloy of it's histories. A blending, not merely a grouping of differences for it's own sake.
