And but also, I'd like to know the Household size for the numbers presented in the OP, because my state isn't even in the top 35 and for cash benefit only it would be just over $11K if a HH of 3 received for all 12mos.
It would make more sense if these numbers are based on both SNAP and Cash benefit. Even though those two benefits are drawn off different areas of the federal budget.
It is also funny that no one wants to talk about how SNAP is essentially a subsidy for farmers. Wonder why that is?

Food stamps are given on a card that can then be used to purchase food. It's called SNAP - Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program. This state does not give out cash money to anybody anymore. The card will carry some spendable cash for women who are pregnant or who have small children. It's not usually more than $50.00 per month. It's not cash payment and very few get it., Stop drinking the trump-aid.

Again, more abuse. Employees are often subject to extreme abuse at the hands of their employers. Employers must be held ABSOLUTELY accountable for that behavior and it must cost them a ton of money. This is how we keep the corporate creepers from exploiting people. Like in the old days when employers thought it was fair to make school-aged children work 18-hour days in unsafe factory conditions with few breaks and for minimal pay.

Businesses will abuse if they can get away with it and that is why unions are required. Unions keep the corporate creeps checked.
