The right-wing will never stop generating culture war issues, because without it, there is literally nothing in the movement except tax cuts for the wealthy. Nothing. The right can't win elections without them.

If every single culture war issue were addressed today, the right-wing would generate new ones the next day. It would not stop with abortion bans, LGBTQ discrimination, or removing affirmative action. Every single right-winger knows this.

Conservatives by definition want to maintain the status quo, because the status quo is racist, homophobic, and religiously bigoted- and they feel this keeps them at the top of the food chain in American society.

But like the rest of their policy positions, from Covid and climate change to foreign policy, it’s short sighted thinking which does not think about how sticking with the status quo will impact them in the long-term. The GOP should more accurately be called the myopic party.

The Lobbyist Groups known as Political Party grew from the Ideology of Pro Slavery and Anti Slavery mentality and the mentality to seperate the Poor White from The Well to Do Whites, and because the poor whites were uneducated they were easily used by the wealthy to back the agenda of the wealthy. They suckered in the working poor by a claim of Fiscal Conservatism, which basically only wanted Tax Money to be spent on what the Wealthy Wanted!!! The Wealthy controlled the jobs, and if Poor whites did not vote the way the wealthy wanted, they could kiss their jobs good bye.
Today, they groups them together under the word "gerrymandering' and these people submit to it even still, after 100's of years and still can't and don't think deep enough to know it, because they have been made slaves to Racism.

By that definition, progressives are extremely conservative. It is progressives who still support the centuries old Prussian model of education, despite its monumental failure. It is progressives who still support the completely obsolete and archaic Post Office, where government drones drive around burning gasoline to put junk mail into mailboxes. It is progressives who still support labor unions, even though the American people have rejected unions, and membership is at an all time low of 10% of the workforce.

They also believe people with big noses can have small ones- or vice versa; women with big boobs can have small ones- or vice versa; fat people can get skinny; people can get rid of warts they don't want; and bald men can grow hair again- or people with hair in places they don't want can get rid of it. Bernie says he's not a "socialist", but a "Democratic Socialist"; his doing that did more to help people discuss the topic instead of just demonize it than probably anyone in American history; and he got a more positive reaction from young people. More generally, Democrats are almost like comparing the local lemonade stand to Coca-Cola.

Or, perhaps, let's compare the 'messaging' of water and Coke.

Water: essentially free, enjoyable, very healthy. But where's the marketing? Instead Coke has thousands of displays of their logo, and carefully designed commercials that get people to think, instead of free, healthy water, I'll spend money on an unhealthy Coke. How many McDonalds meals are ordered with a free water and how many with a Coke product?

How HATED was billionaire Michael Bloomberg for trying to help public health a little limiting huge sizes of soft drinks at convenience stores? It became a defining issue of freedom in America for millions to oppose him.

Were those people thankful for his concern for them or were they loyal to the huge soft drinks? There are billions to be made from soft drinks, not tap water; there are billions to be made from HARMFUL public policies, like polluting and overpriced drugs, not good public policies like 'healthcare for all' and 'protecting the environment, analogous to tap water'. So the side with billions spent selling it, persuades a lot of people.

Many a conservative has uttered the words 'Democrat plantation.' The above shows the Republican Plantation.

There's also a 'Democratic Plantation,' but it's not the one that conservatives describe (Black people voting for Democrats). It's pretty much the same plantation, it just has a different menu and is in a different neighborhood.

The real plantation is the whole world, Earth, and the US government (USG) wants to be the biggest controller. How so? Let's start with what I think are The Big Two: Wall Street and the Pentagon (Department of "Defense," wink wink).
