The bumbler in chief actually just said this.

As usual, no defense, just the same old Trump did this, Trump did that.

Agree with you...
Perhaps if Biden spent more time on the job instead of vacationing weekends in Delaware, there might be less criticism coming his way?
Less than six months into a tenure bogged down by the coronavirus pandemic, soaring gun violence and a crisis at the southern border, President Joe Biden has already spent more weekends away from the White House than any of his modern predecessors at the same point in their term.

The economy in this country is really flying, even more-so when compared to the countries south of the border. Biden's GDP growth is the highest since the '60's! Leaving previous president's GDP in the dust! In addition, we have vaccines for free, and are getting a handle on Covid. Why wouldn't mass hordes want to emigrate here?

Of course they'd want to come here... Why not?
Looked at Biden's remarks on handling the border crisis lately? They need life support.

That should tell us all we need to know as to why central American caravans of migrants are pouring in by the tens of thousands. Joe Biden is their hero.

Biden would get as much done at the border as Trump did. Which is to say zilch.

But apparently some are impressed when viewing photo-ops . . .
You should go see what the Border Agents say about Trumps Wall, and his handling of the illegal immigration problem !
The Propagandist in the Media will not Spoon Feed the Sheep Facts, when they expose the crimes of the Left !

You can't hang this all on Biden, just like you can't hang it all on Trump during the last administration. Immigration tracks economic opportunity, and Biden's economy is unsurpassed in recent times.

Note when the economy tanked under Trump, immigration slowed down to nearly nothing. Now, the economy's booming like never before. There's an unprecedented worker shortage, and many of those jobs are the jobs new immigrants from south of the border fill.

Even better than the tan suit. Biden should go to the Borden, wearing a tan suit AND for the photo Op pose holding a Bible upside down...

Exactly!

Does anyone remember the nonsense, below?

How did that work out? Crossings are higher than ever! So much for the "Great Wall" . . .

It would be a waste of time, just like when Trump did it. We need results, not political photo-ops.

BTW - Last month was an all-time record for border arrests. Biden is doing a lot more than he's portrayed.
we had results, now we have open borders.

if by "arrests" you mean catch-and-release into the interior, sure.

Yeah, I can blame it all on Biden.
Apparently, I am not alone. Americans Blame Biden Admin for Growing Border Chaos

I want to be a multi-millionaire. Because I want it, does that mean I should get it?

Hey, I'm not supporting what they do (if illegal). Just explain the draw.

Want to really slow this down? Mandate E-Verify, and bring criminals actions against employers. Neither party has mandated E-Verify, they're both guilty. Now, Biden is going after employers - so that's a start. But Congress has been MIA on this issue forever.

This immigration issue is a fascinating study of politics in this country and how easy it is to manipulate people..

Over the past 30 years the GOP, INCLUDING, 2 years when Trump was president, they could have seriously and decisively attacked the immigration problem... But they never did because their big business donors don't want the border closed..
Businesses love immigrants, they work hard and they work cheap..

But somehow, someway, with the help of the Conservative media machine, the GOP has convinced the Republican base that the GOP is tough on immigration and they really want to stop it.. That's a lie, but their base 100% believes that lie. Imo that is the original Republican big lie... Still is... E-verify would stop this problem cold. But again, 2 years of Trump and the Republican government and E-verify remained toothless.

Trump was especially egregious in this regard. He increased H1B quotas wildly, and added giving not just them a path to citizenship, but gave a citizenship path to their families!

Yep. And the last president who gave illegals immunity was.............. REAGAN! LOL.

But the Republican base seems like they lap these lies up... Probably why Trump and his people around him knew they could lie their asses off and get away with those lies...

They are gullible...

Yep. I didn't feel the need to point that out, but you are very much right!

Enforcing E-verify is a very good strategy but it is not being done so accept that fact. Next, or the first best thing is to close the border, protect our sovereignty, for god's sake do something besides deflecting responsibility.

I won't argue with that.

But, I haven't seen Biden deflect.

Let's say that I agree with you that Trump did not fix the immigration problem. See how easy that was for me? Now you do the same regarding Biden who is even worse.

Yesterday he said that he hasn't had time to visit the border and followed that lie up with, maybe I should go. His handlers didn't notice that gaff because they are still trying to recover from his statement that he would defend Taiwan against the Chinese. I guess we should get ready to go to war. He never fails to amaze. By the way, our leftist supported hero has already spent 22 weekends in Delaware and Camp David hiding in their basements but he doesn't have the time to go to the border. What a colossal mistake just because you guys didn't like the last guy.

So you run through daily activities of the President, adding "lie" and "gaff" from time to time but actually there's no wrong-doing there at all. Visiting the border would be appropriate if there was a disaster there for instance, while retracting the long-standing commitment of the US to defending Taiwan would be absolute blockbuster news. Of course he didn't do that.

And you finish up with Biden working at Camp David? Instead of playing record amounts of golf? I really can't work out what's going on here, is it a false flag? Praising Biden with weak condemnation?

Anyway, I do slightly agree on Taiwan. It doesn't need to be said again, and all Presidents should be careful not to give the impression that anything but invading Taiwan is acceptable to the US. There are numerous small islands for instance, weakly held by neighbour countries.

This is true, and is something the far right won't acknowledge, but something economic libertarians understand. Economic migration is in our DNA. Humans have always traveled great distances for survival and in search of prosperity. Prior to the early- 80s, there were more Vietnamese immigrants in Northern Nevada than Hispanics. Then we hit a growth spurt. The whole state led the nation in growth for a ridiculous number of years, and now we are a heavily Hispanic state. They didn't all just arrive here coincidentally. When Vegas and Reno announced a new resort project, it was heard in Mexico and Central America. Illegal immigrants don't leave home on a whim; they have a destination and a plan.

The same thing occurred in Chicago during its unprecedented growth in the second half of the 19th century. The growth was fueled by speculators and the labor was supplied by immigrants. Same hatred occurred as well, directed mostly at the Irish.

I'm perfectly fine with the reality of growth and labor shortages. We need to accept that, and from there come up with solutions.
