the breakfast thread

Neither one of us was particularly hungry this morning after yesterday’s meal. We both had toasted English muffins. Mine were buttered with strawberry preserves on one. Wife’s was with Skippy chunky peanut butter. Cupsa Joe.

Wasn't feeling that hungry, so I had peanut butter on an English muffin.

That's one of my all time favorites when I am in a feck it all "hungry for something" mood.

If I really need a homemade junk food fix I like sliced bananas, peanut butter (chunky if we have it), raisons and drizzles of local honey all in a toasted bread sandwich.

PB, honey, and banana slices make a great sandwich.

Bowl of Frosted Mini Wheats w/ sliced banana, toasted, buttered English muffin, cuppa joe, oj.

Oatmeal and toast.......boring
Have you ever tried Bob's Red Mill Extra Thick Rolled Oats? They take longer to cook, but they have a lot more flavor and chew. (The microwave method was a disaster) Not boring, imo.
