Well, when the librul leadership of the state leaves the reservoirs dry in a state subject to intense drought, who else should be blamed? Disneland characters? Perhaps Minnie Mouse or Elmer Fudd?
You are using plural for reservoirs. Which ones exactly are you saying were left dry?

Well done, MAGA! We need more of this! ^^^^^^^
Don't send help, send derision. Let those Californians they got what they deserve! YEAH! HELL, YEAH! **** em all!

and your evidence is that I was wrong is?

bet it is right along with the list of "reservoirs" that are dry that I asked for. :giggle:

Years ago, crews had installed a cover on the Santa Ynez Reservoir. Mr. Adams said he heard that the cover had been damaged, and contracting documents from November showed that a company was hired to repair the cover.

Mr. Adams said repairs and maintenance for such systems would be normal, as would taking the reservoirs offline. Under normal circumstances, the water system in the area would have continued functioning just fine.

What, that bullshit again?

Remains grounded?

That is relatively minor damage.

A Navy/Marine/Air Force structural mechanic could have that plane patched & systems checked in a few hours.
Talking out of your ass? What is the damage? Did it strike the nose or get pulled through the turboprop?

I am not going to sign up for an account just to view articles from the NYT, a rag that I have little respect for. And I do not buy the excuses. Wildfires are a problem in California and there is not excuse for not having water or water pressure avaialble no matter how much it may be used more then normal.

Nope! You just made that up.
No actually I did not. However you may be half right. Newsome did not turn the water down all on his own:

"Trump's administration in his first term signed a memorandum that redirected millions of gallons of water to farmers living in the Central Valley and Southern California, pumping it out of the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta, which Newsom quickly condemned at the time.

However, new federal and state regulations limit the amount of water pumped from the Sacramento-San Joaquin River Delta in order to protect the endangered smelt fish, which Trump claimed would have prevented the wildfires."

You wrote the governor turned down help in his first term. That is a lie. Then you post an unrelated article about the current water problem. It says nothing about Trump offering anything helpful at all. As the article points out, "officials noted that the problem was the electrical outages preventing water from flowing rather than a lack of water in the region." Sending water that cannot be pumped is not helpful.

As I said, you just made it up.

Your reading comprehension is poor.
As the article points out, a lack of water is not the problem. Pumping the water is the problem. Sending water that cannot be pumped is not helpful. You read the article, yet you choose to ignore the facts pointed out by the people at the scene.

local officials and experts saying that the overall water supply is not the problem -- rather it's that power was shut off to pumps in the immediate area of the fires.

When did any marine repair tech have to wait for the FAA and NTSB to fully investigate the event?

They were not allowed to even remove the bits of drone still imbedded in the leading edge until all relevant agencies had signed off. Then it was removed very carefully to preserve evidence and a search of interior of wing cavity behind done before new panel could be attached.

All done under the watchful eyes of probably at least three American agencies.

It's been back in service for days now.

Interesting, I was able to pull up and read the article without having an account.

What sources do you use for your information?

What State do you live in?

Canada and Mexico Are Sending Teams to Help California Fight the Fires

Air tankers, firefighters and technicians from the neighboring countries are on their way to Los Angeles in a show of solidarity.
Yes. Good on Canada. It is the least they could do.

Does anyone know if this is done gratis?

No, the least we could do, after all the bullshit rhetoric Trump has been spewing at us the last while, is tell America to **** off and buy marshmallows.

Yes, this is done "gratis".

It's also what being a good neighbor looks like, and has looked liked for a long time.

Don't worry, you guys can go back to messing with us once you're not so on fire.

Good to know. As it should be.

America has been the best neighbor/ally to Canada for a long time, DESPITE any particular political winds of the moment. Spare the faux righteousness / virtue signaling.

"Messing with us"? LOL! OK little brother. /s

Just say thanks.

When I accessed it, it asked me to create an account.
my browser has an immersive reader function (edge). gets rid of that popup
Certainly not the NYT. I will consider AP articles, fox news, USA Today, some of the other mainstream network sites, excludding CNN.

One of the 50 US states.

Faux righteousness / virtue signaling? If anyone had come at you like you came at us, they'd be a parking lot already.

Yes, you are messing with us. You may be the "big brother", but your president to be is acting like a little bitch. Sucks to have "little brother" show you how to be the bigger man, I guess.

Does anyone think that's a consideration?
