making abortion illegal after fertilization... That the fertilized ovum has sanctity of life...come on now..

traditional marriage of a man and a woman...never mind this violates the findings in the US Supreme Court and what another person chooses is none of anyone else's business...as long as that person is of age and of free mind and body.

Believes that the federal government has no authority in Texas...so, I guess that means they will send back all those federal funds then?

Thinks they have the authority to dictate how many Supreme Court justices are on the Supreme Court.

They think they can declare the Equal Rights Laws as invalid.....good lord.

They also think that they can ignore the Voting Rights Act and ignore any Supreme Court Ruling they do not like.

They think that anyone, including criminals, felons and wife beaters should be allowed to own guns...and carry them in the open....btw, this includes school shooters and murderers.

free market solution for utilities? So, it wasn't enough when they had the break down of their power grid?

They oppose all sex education in any grade in school......have they lost their collective minds?

Prohibit the assistance in obtaining STD testing for teens, birth control, etc....now I know they lost their minds.

They insist that Obamacare is unconstitutional even though the Supreme Court disagreed...and they are seeking to prohibit it inside Texas borders.

They are wanting to codify discrimination against gay people and allow for the prosecution or maltreatment of gays.

They were already ruled against in 1981 on forcing parents to prove legal status in order to send their citizen children to school....yet, they want to try to ignore that ruling...

All this is bunk....unfrigginbelievable....at least they aren't trying to hide their bigotry anymore.

I'm really glad we have a 5th thread on this

How many open campaigns are there for the management vacancy?

;)

Respectfully, those threads focused on either "calling for cession referendum" or the anti-LGBTQ stuff. Quite frankly there is enough dumb shit in there for another thread considering OP highlighted many things that were not discussed in those threads.

There needs to be a hundred more.

Whenever there is bad news for Republicans everyone on the left rushes to flood as many threads as they can.

We demand the State Legislature pass a law prohibiting the teaching of sex education, sexual health, or sexual choice or identity in any public school in any grade whatsoever, or disseminating or permitting the dissemination by any party of any material regarding the same.
Literal demons. It is like they actively are brainstorming the most effective ways of making the world worse for the largest number of people.

Abolish Department of Education: Since education is not an enumerated power of the federal government, we believe the Department of Education should be abolished, and the transfer of any of its functions to any other federal agency should be prohibited

We support the defunding of “climate justice” initiatives, the abolition of the Environmental Protection Agency, and repeal of the Endangered Species Act, and we oppose the “America the Beautiful” Initiative, also known as the 30 x 30 program.
I would struggle to write legislation this evil if I was trying. This is cartoon villain shit.

Once more running interference for the ugliest stuff the right puts out?

Whenever there is bad news for Republicans everyone on the left rushes to flood as many threads as they can.

Very good, Crovax. You *got* the left, because people on the right never do that on a anonymous debate board with thousands of users.

Any comment on the evil platform the OP is about?

Good choice of words. Blast from the past.

So, you simply want to ignore the dumb shit that your side is putting out? How about addressing it and what you think is right and wrong with it?

Only the crazies go to these conventions most people don't have the time or the energy to go to them which is why only half the eligible delegates attended. Note that these are only resolutions and not part of the GOP platform yet. When the Texas GOP release their platform I will comment on what I do and don't approve of. Not that anyone on the left actually cares about my opinion anyways.

Wait.....they had marbles?
Singular.

They may look like axons, but they're not.
