ABC News is parting ways with veteran correspondent Terry Moran, two days after he posted a missive on X calling President Donald Trump and deputy chief of staff Stephen Miller “world-class haters.”

The network said Tuesday afternoon that Moran’s contract was about to expire, and “based on his recent post — which was a clear violation of ABC News policies — we have made the decision to not renew.”

“At ABC News, we hold all of our reporters to the highest standards of objectivity, fairness and professionalism, and we remain committed to delivering straightforward, trusted journalism,” an ABC News spokesperson said.

What a hack! And Loser? I can think of at least a dozen other correspondents who need a pink slip!

What he said is objectively true. If you can't call a spade a spade, I dunno. ABC is gonna do what ABC is gonna do. After all, he signed a contract. That said...

I'm never going to advocate outright lying like Fox & the hard right media. But the whole falling on your own sword thing is getting a bit much. Do that and the modern right just pulls the pants off your corpse and slaps a clown face on the top half of your buttcrack.
 
Nah, ABC didn’t just fire him, they were threatened and ran scared.

This is what started it off. Imagine the hair on fire collective outrage if Biden had done it to a Fox reporter or an OAN, Newsmax or any other reporter.

Amazing what cult45/47 applauds now.

Let’s be honest—this is a million times more gentle, less visceral, and significantly less hate-drenched than your average afternoon at Fox News… you know, when they’re not giving rhetorical hand jobs to TACO.


But hey—credit where it’s due: NBC still has just enough journalistic integrity left to fire a rookie reporter for lacking impartiality.


Because unlike Fox, they haven’t turned their newsroom into a Kremlin cosplay convention where Tucker Carlson spoon-feeds shameless, vodka-soaked Russian propaganda to an audience that thinks “nuance” is a type of cheese.


At least NBC hasn’t put up a set where you half expect a shirtless Putin to ride in on a bear and co-anchor the 6 o’clock hour.


But let’s not kid ourselves—we're talking about two entirely different species here.
One still vaguely recognizes facts and ethics.
The other sold its soul for ratings, rage clicks, and a seat at the pedophile sexual predator convict dinner table.

A part of me thinks Moran knew he was going to get fired and probably isn't bothered by it.
