Tennessee passes bill to allow teachers to be armed.

Should there be a teacher who wishes to carry out a mass school shooting, he/she will have no difficulty whatever in bringing a firearm into the school
^^^
The most moronic statement on the internet today.

Because a teacher who wanted to carry out a mass shooting would be stopped by the fact he can;t legally carry in a school.

So, when the first school shooting takes place with a gun a teacher brought into the school and left insecure, or was taken from a teacher by force, can the grieving parents of dead children sue the idiot legislators for creating this completely predictable outcome?

Because the answer to school shootings is shoot outs. What could go wrong?

Does this new law include trans teachers?
True, it’s much better to let the school shooters complete their important work unimpeded, otherwise the gun control zealots might have fewer bodies to stand on while pushing their narrative.

Welcome to two weeks ago. A link would also be helpful.

32 states currently allow armed teachers or school personnel.

Link us up to any stories about your scenarios or it is just your anti-gun fantasy what if.

And also, why do you want our children to be less protected than our politicians?

Stupid meme noted that has nothing to do with OP.

Why do you want our children less protected than our politicians? If it saves one life, isn’t it worth it? Right?
Truth is the anti-gun zealots don't really care about the kids. They will sacrifice the lives of the kids just to keep their narrative of "no guns in schools under any circumstances.."

Dumb meme. Why would having a few well trained teachers armed to protect children be a problem. The average requirement is over 40 hours of training in safe and effective handling of a firearm. That's far more training then the average school shooter has. Why do you want to sacrifice the lives of school children just for the sake of a militant anti-gun stance?

Has everything to do with the above post. Why do memes 'trigger' you so much? (Pun intended)

Ignorant strawman. Got proof it will save more lives than it will negatively impact? Show me your studies if you please. In the meantime, enjoy the humor -

Trusting teachers with guns but not books.

I'm not even against this type of law either, as I think that allowing teachers to voluntarily be armed as long as they are able to demonstrate they can do so safely, have proper certifications and training, and are known to the school but not students, and they get no extra incentives to do so is fine. I just think its pure hypocrisy for the state governments to say teachers can't be trusted to make judgements about books their students can read but can be trusted to be armed responsibly and only use it when absolutely necessary.

Wait...
You think teachers carrying a gun in school is a new idea?

This is from -2018-

Pro-life apparently is "anti-gun" now.

I think it's a GREAT idea.

But, being the capitalist pig that I am, I am going to start a pool of how long it will be before the first teacher goes berserk and shoots up the principal's office. Any takers?

The know they cannot push their agendas w/o dead children, so they oppose anything that will mean fewer of them.

Exactly. They are not concerned about saving the lives of children. They just want the issue for the sake of pushing anti-gun laws.
