Gee. One can makes 38 quarts. Now that's value. Why would you need any other tea?

I like chai with sugar and milk in it, or black tea with milk or just plain. I also like herbal tea in the evening.

Oh come on man. You telling me you never sat on the beach drinking a nice tall glass of Lipton Iced Tea? Tastes great to all us uncivilized folks. Just like Herseys chocolate.

Tea with milk... gag.

It just sounds so gross.

I was kind of forced to drink it in India when a family invited me into their home for tea. I didn't want to be rude and say "Eeewwww!!" when they brought me tea with milk in it. So I drank it, they would have been devastated otherwise. *That* particular tea wasn't horrible with the milk, though it would have been better without it, IMO. Then again, I don't like milk much anyway. hehe

I put agave in my tea. Or honey. Screw that refined sugar crap.

I'm going to try some of the teas mentioned in the thread though, except any fruity ones because that's just gross. But I'm going to order some Rooibos.

Try this site (Sadaf). These are great teas, and you can purchase them either loose, in whole leaves, or in teabags. They also offer some great tasting Middle Eastern foods and spices.

For Rooibos tea, try this site (Teavana). Look for Rooibos Caramel.

You know, with all this talk about tea parties, and teabagging, it may me wonder about something. I enjoy tea, but because I like my tea VERY strong, I leave the teabag in my glass when I drink it.

Does anyone else do this? And regardless, how do YOU like your tea?

Cold, strong with a lot of sugar.

I like it hot as well, strong, with about 3 teaspoons of sugar and a dab of milk.

if you ever have a really persistent cough, i suggest Rooibos tea with honey and lemon juice, it really helps

Okay, so I tried the Rooibos and didn't really care for it. Too much of a fruity-ish taste for me.

Danarhea!

Upon your recommendation, I bought some Rooibos tea today. After each gulp, I can't help but say to myself, "**** this is awesome!" I bought 2 flavours of Rooibos ... one called Bourbon Street Vanilla Rooibos and Belgium Chocolate Rooibos. I hate fruity or overly flavoured teas, but these just have enough of a hint that they are perfect.

Thanks some much, I am a fan!

Long time ago I read something about using leftover teabags, removing the tea and drying the used tea, and adding it to rice dishes, salads, etc.....
There was even a term, chagra, and not only is it edible, but it works as a rust cleaner and cat litter...;)

You can also dye clothes using tea making stuff appear older and getting a victorian kinda look/thing going on:cool:

If you leave your teabag in the glass, I suppose you're force to use a long straw.
