Every day, from the morning until the late afternoon, Socialism blights the Earth. The Sun - a great big ball of leftist Nanny Statism - rises for everyone equally, irrespective of family connections, wealth, or corporate rank, warming the lazy and the diligent alike. Where does this intrusive yellow foreigner come from? I'll tell you where - the East! It sneaks upon our shores like an illegal immigrant, forcibly depriving heating and lighting companies of business, and then slinks away to hide on the Left Coast before going back under the edge of the world to repeat its sinister Marxian cycle.
I think the Tea Party (aka, Republican Party) - fresh off its successful protests against socializing Medicare - should now step up and boycott this hideous disc of profit-depriving Commie treacle. A real American doesn't need Nanny Nature to just dole out light - a real American makes his own light through hard work and ingenuity. Besides, the Sun is racist - it burns white people way more than black people. And it's really arrogant and elitist too, riding all high up in the sky like that. Isn't it about time that patriotic Americans rise up against this Socialist invader and have NASA stop it from imposing its Commie photons on our soil? Generations of American patriots did not fight and die just to surrender our freedom to nucleosynthesis!
If it doesn't stop, John Boehner may just have to pass a resolution declaring war on the Sun, and directing NASA to immediately begin preparations to knock it out of the sky. Sources affiliated with former VP Dick Cheney tell us the Sun may be hiding WMDs on its dark side, so we may have no choice.
