TDS, a mental issue- MN. Senate File No. 2580

Today, Minnesota Senate Republicans have introduced Senate File No. 2589, proposing to amend the state's mental health statutes to include 'Trump Derangement Syndrome' (TDS) as a recognized mental illness. The bill defines TDS as an irrational fear or hatred of Donald Trump that impacts an individual's ability to function in daily life, sparking debate on whether political opposition should be considered a mental health issue.

So, I take it you hold men who cheat on their wives while they are recovering from giving birth to their children, with a porn star in high regard.

Not surprising.

This cartoon is a great example concerning many idioms used for someone who is so easily triggered that they get to the point of destructive criminal behavior. imho

Like setting on fire Tesla cars & charging stations. They are arsonist’s. Arson is a crime. Causing destruction of a business selling Tesla cars. Is also a crime.

1. Blow a fuse 2. Hit the Roof 3. See Red 4. Fly Off the Handle 5. Boil Over 6. Go Ballistic 7. Have a Short Fuse 8. Blow One’s Top 9. Mad as a Hornet
10. Spitting Nails 11. Riled Up

My favorite is a combination of three idioms put together in a sentence ~ “Hot headed sore losers on the warpath.”

Could it be groups of the totally TDS unhinged political party losers using domestic terrorism they imagine will destroy the current Trump/Vance Administration?

Domestic Terrorism 1. noun ~ “terrorism practiced in your own country against your own people”
“the 1995 bombing of a federal building in Oklahoma City was an instance of domestic terrorism
You know we remember all the other “derangements” you’ve applied to dismiss criticism of those you worship.

As well as you considering it “deranged” to disapprove of assholes who act like assholes.

The only conclusion would be commiseration on your part.

I don’t worship any human being.

I don’t worship any human being.
But you will deflect criticism with repurposed dismissals.

Frankly, trump has been on my “piece of shit” list for far longer than he’s been in politics.

I don’t worship any human being.
They have to fabricate this supposed worship much the same way the many fabricated hoaxes, their later debunking being ignored.

It simply boils down to their projecting this supposed worship, the way they worship their political leaders, and can't imagine anyone who doesn't.

Or cheer it on when not an active participant. It's takes someone who is politically delusional to cheer on domestic terrorism. Musk, who was once the left's darling is now their enemy and all because of his politics. And the names they have called this man, like Nazi, is nothing short of a very serious derangement.

Rules for thee but not for me. Of course is the answer to your question.

Domestic Terrorism 1. noun ~ “terrorism practiced in your own country against your own people”

It's never terrorism when they do it.

Symptoms of their derangement ranges from spontaneous outbursts of "Orange Man Bad!", an uncontrollable urge to blame him for everything (including, but not limited to, their burnt toast), and a knack for seeing Hitler in everything he says. Even his friends like Elon Musk trigger them.

I had a high school friend who's uncle was an editor for a large newspaper. His whole claim to fame was his ability to write catchy and funny titles to the articles. That's actually a real skill :)

You got played.

Again

I was at a quiet birthday dinner in LA, and I casually mentioned the president’s name.

I call bullshit on this part of Elmo’s tweet!

It's far from bullshit. Archive some of the posts from this forum. There are many here who brag about breaking their friendships with friends and family who casually mention Trump's name in their presence. Who does this but those afflicted with some pretty serious Trump Derangement Syndrome.

Those who don't suffer fools gladly.

So, simply saying that I don't like Trump because he's a total tosser somehow counts as a mental illness now?

I also hate UK politician Jacob Rees-Mogg as he's a stuck up posh twat who hasn't worked a day in his life but has spent years now claiming anyone working from home is lazy and needs to get back to the office.
Do I have a syndrome about him as well or is Trump somehow special and not liking him is stepping over some stupid line?

That's not what they wrote.

I don't know. Do you?

Anything that tries to claim TDS is a thing is laughable in concept.

You guys moaned about Obama for decades, was that a mental illness as well?

If I lived in Minnesota, and a Republican or independent conservative (which I used to be ages ago in MD), I would start a grass roots organization to remove any and all Republicans connected to this bill in upcoming primaries and replace them with Republicans who will take the job ****ing seriously.

If I were a Democrat living in Minnesota, I would encourage the local DNC to attack, attack and attack those particular Republicans on their records and showcase this stupidity versus real world concerns and not be nice about it. I would create townhall meetings specifically for those Republicans in both blue and red districts to try to get them to justify this nonsense. And if they choose not to show up, they will still happen and let the people publicly air out their concerns and shove on TV and online, And if the lower house passes the measure, I want to see what happens when the upper house says "fine...but we are going to include other Derange Syndromes as seen being suffered by Republicans", just to watch them loose their shit. The reality is that currently it most likely won't pass.

Perhaps here in MD, we should pass a bill in concern of Hillary, Obama and Biden Syndromes as well.....(sarcasm, for those who can't identify it).

Come again?
The last president pardoned his felon son he said he wouldn't.
Trump played you for your vote (and his policies will hurt you, your family and your community).

And you continue to defend and champion him.

It's really sad more than anything.

Sounds like you are just upset the Derangement Affirming Care isnt yet available in your home state.

It could be if some would stop going on and on about saving USAID and start thinking more about helping our people in this country.

Said by an anti-Trumper whose party wanted legislation to defund the police and have legislation that mandated covid vaccines.

TDS, a mental issue- MN. Senate File No. 2580

MAGATS think they can Legislate a non existent mental condition into existence.

Tell me there isn't a whole shipload of irony in that.

Your party thought they could lawfare their way into keeping a presidential candidate out of the WH.
Don't tell us that TDS isn't real.

It only serves to illuminate the MAGA thought process that they see mental illness in a derogatory light. The bill enshrines that callous disregard for the mentally ill by using it as an insulting label. There's no mention of treatment.

No, what's sad is that the above is just more of the same TDS we've come to expect.

Much in the same way that you lot tosses around the word Nazi toward people they want to censor and dominate?
Like that? People who have mental illness are often the last to know. Good for these five Republican Senators taking the mental illness known as TDS seriously. Something needs to be done in order to address it.

You know one thing a true alpha personality never does?

Worship another man.

You may not. Many if not most MAGA absolutely do.

And they don’t even realize their behavior defines them as beta personalities.

You just did (again) what I said you do.

Again, it's more sad than anything. For you, your loved ones and your community.
