I wrote a devotion about the harm of pornography and a woman wrote and told me, "Judge not." She said I shouldn't judge people's choices in reading materials because that was God's job.

Her misunderstanding is common. Many people think that the Bible prohibits us from judging anything beyond our own sins.

But the "Judge not" passage (Matthew 7:1-5), when read in context, actually teaches us these points:
  • Don’t judge others with a different standard than you judge yourself.
  • Judge your own sins first, because unrepentant sin alters your "vision" (perspective).
  • If you appropriately deal with your sins, you’ll be able to appropriately judge others effectively.
This passage prohibits hypocritical judging, not judging in general.

So why have we so easily accepted this "judge not" error?

Because Satan has been twisting Scripture from the beginning of time to confuse us and make us soft on sin.

But we can refuse Satan's counsel by checking everything, even out-of-context Scripture passages, against the full truth of God's Word.

The above beckons the question as to why an Omnipotent God would allow "His Word" ( Scripture ) to be "twisted." Once "His Word" has been twisted, the path to truth is blunted.

Because of a universal issue that arose when Satan rebelled...who has the right to rule mankind, Jehovah God or Satan the Devil...the only way to answer that challenge was for Jehovah to give Satan a chance to prove himself...Satan has been ruling mankind ever since, to mankind's detriment...1 John 5:19...the issue will soon be settled once and for all time...

You should put this in the "Theology" sub forum. Else, you'll have atheists like me commenting.

That^ doesn't address that once God's Word has been "twisted", the path to 'original' truth is blunted with 'lies', leaving no path to 'original' Biblical 'truth.'

Yes, it does...with Satan being allowed to prove himself...you know that old saying...give a man enough rope and all...the truth is still there...

Now that I've warned you, contextually, this has nothing to do with direct contradictions to the "sin" involved. As it is written, it simply says "No one is without sin". Therefore, you have no right to judge anyone unless you become free of "sin".

Good luck with that!

"Twisted" scriptures, by definition, are not 'Biblical truth.' And your claim is "His Word" has been "Twisted since the beginning of time." So it follows mankind has never had access to actual Biblical truth, because Satan existed before mankind.

I don't see them as twisted...I see them being in perfect harmony with one another...the truth is still there and you see it, too, in the farce of the trinity doctrine...

Direct quote from your OP. "Because Satan has been twisting scripture since the beginning of time....."
And he has, in his attempt to keep people away from worshipping Jehovah...he's very good at it, too, as you well know...few have found that "cramped road"...

While I realize that Omnipotent God is a very busy fellow, why doesn't he/she publish a new, untwisted version of his/her word.
With omnipresent social media outlets, he could reach billions of potential believers in mere seconds.
I'm pretty certain he wouldn't get banned from twitter.

lol...you are doing the very thing the OP is about...judging someone for doing the very same thing you are doing...

This^ is in direct contradiction with your claim in post# 9.
I was referring to Satan twisting God's Word...the Scriptures say he has blinded the eyes of the unbelievers...2 Corinthians 4:3-5...

Spoken like a true Pharisee.

Given the centuries of abominable atrocities perpetrated while Satan is in charge, I'd say beelzebub has proven himself to be inept.
Do you have any estimate as to when God might step in and say "ENOUGH!"

Yes. You've already stated "Satan has been twisting Scripture since the beginning of time...." ( 'Before' mankind came into existence ) ...Therefore, it follows mankind has 'never' had access to actual biblical truth, by definition.

No one knows the day or the hour but Jesus gave us signs to look out for, so that we can determine the season at least...Matthew 24...

That is not true...at least 8 1/2 million have access to the truth that I know of and only God knows how many more are out there...

In human terms, how long is a "season"?

lol...you are doing the very thing the OP is about...judging someone for doing the very same thing you are doing...
Not even a nice try. I am not judging a single person, I am interpreting the ancient sheepherder text how it is recorded.

How did those 8 1/2 million "have access to the truth", if the Scriptures "have been twisted since the beginning of time", which came 'before' any humans existed? How does one gain 'Truth' from "Twisted" scripture? The source of truth, per your OP claim clearly states "Scripture" was twisted 'before' mankind even existed.

In human terms, how long is a "season"?
The length is not the point...the point of Jesus using a "season" is so we can recognize when the time for him to take rule is getting near...Luke 21

29 And he told them a parable: “See the fig-tree, and all the trees;

30 when they are leaving out you know for yourselves by seeing it that summer is now near;

31 so you too, when you see these things taking place, are to know that the Reign of God is near
