If enough Muslims appear to invoke Sharia Law, I'm not sure that's a bad thing. I have read about fathers that have been made in to hamburger in the US divorce courts. I have no idea where you live or how old you are but I will tell you that I have lived in a many places and visited many more in and outside of the United States. I went to grade school with Muslims. Muslims were a small part of the community in which I was raised. I served in the military with American Muslims. I went to college and graduate school with Muslim classmates. I have worked with people who are Muslim.

In all my years and all the places I've lived and worked and traveled I have never had a Muslim attempt to do me or mine any harm because of the fact that I am not a Muslim. In fact, no one in my extended family and none of my friends or their families have been the recipient of Muslim violence here in the United States. My experience is far, far the rule than what apparently happens to you and your family and the people you all know.

I'd be interested in hearing about 5 or 6 of your personal violent Muslim experiences or those of your family and friends. This kind of thing must happen to you often. It is completely different from the world I have known. Your personal examples, beyond 9/11, would be informative. It would also helpful to know approximately when all these events occurred to you and your family and friends. Did these events of violence against you all occur over decades? They must have as Muslims have been practiced their faith here in America since before we were a country. They've been here a long time.

Actually, sexual abuse happens in almost all faiths. It happens among Baptists, Buddhists, Presbyterians, Evangelicals and on and on. I am not aware where it is advocated or viewed as permissible in the Koran.
