I don’t think either party will get a bump. I view them as feel good things for each party, for the pro-Trumpers and the anti-Trumpers. The question is, did either make a difference? The LA protests haven’t. Trump was sitting at 47.4% approval on 5 June, he’s at 46.7% today. The difference is just the normal ups and downs. No significant change. The status quo reigns. Keep in mind you also have the MOE to consider.

If no kings protest was nothing more than to have a public display of the anti-Trumper, I don’t see that it accomplished much outside of making the anti-Trumpers feel better about themselves, at least for a while. The big question is what difference did it make? Did it win over anyone who was sitting on the fence? Did it make Trump change how he’s governing? We already knew the country is divided roughly evenly between pro and anti-Trump forces. So, you had your no kings protests, Trump had his military parade and today we’re back to square one exactly where we were before all of this happened.

Myself, I’d be concentrating on winning over as many independents as possible. It’s the midterms next year that will be the next battlefeild. Along with winning back many previous democratic voters who voted in 2016 and 2020 that stay home and didn’t vote in 2024.

i attended a local No Kings yesterday and encourage others to do so.

once there it was easy to Educate the people concerning the Oligarchy, the Dialectic, and Dark Maga ................they were open to my thoughts, and many agreed.

both sides need to show up and start a dialog. we have no violence and burning cars, it was a fun event. but our local scene is not the insane LA thing...totally different.

well people were fearful on both sides. i tried to get a conservative friend to go with and he was fearful and thought cars would be driving into protesters.

one lady was afraid to Cross the street, so i escorted her across. .........i have never seen such fear grip people, but it was peaceful. the cops mingled with us and some talked with them.

i got there late, was taking a nap; i have been to so many of these things and it basically is the same old thing. the Orange force was driving by us hurling insults as usual which was counter productive to their cause.

if you are into the Orange dictatorship, then come join us and splain your side.

i talk my side up and people listen, i even give a christian message because i believe both sides will fail in the end and we end up with a Real King which is Jesus who is King anyway. so i preach Christian Theocracy after splaining Armageddon and Prophecy to come.

Why does every protest they engage in devolve into a riot? And what’s wrong with writing your congressman, letters to the editor, and voting? Have you tried moving to another state or country more to your liking yet? That’s what I did. I concluded that rather than butt my head against a wall for the rest of my life I would accept the “highway” instead of insisting that everyone else accept “my way.” At some point you may have to recognize that democracy may not always be to your liking and either accept the result or leave.
