Without a detailed list of the jobs being cut, this is just more propaganda."I always wanted to get the Purple Heart. This was much easier." ~ Commander in Chief "Bone Spurs" Trump - August 2nd, 2016.
Yep - may as well spit in veterans faces.
Trump administration plans to cut 80,000 employees from Veterans Affairs, according to internal memo
The Department of Veterans Affairs is planning an “aggressive” reorganization that includes cutting 80,000 jobs from the sprawling agency.apnews.com Internal VA Emails Reveal How Trump Cuts Jeopardize Veterans’ Care, Including To “Life-Saving Cancer Trials”
Despite a congressional mandate to expand care for veterans, internal Veterans Affairs messages obtained by ProPublica paint a stark portrait of how chaotic cost cutting has already imperiled tests of treatments for cancer, opioid addiction and more.www.propublica.org 5 reasons federal cuts are hitting veterans especially hard
For the past month, the Trump administration has been cutting federal spending, causing numerous hardships for government employees, the agencies they work for and the people they serve. But veterans are among those hardest hit, and the impact goes well beyond job loss.www.pbs.org
You mean the MAGAt agent provocateurs. You don’t have to do any of that. All you need to do is be there to provide a little cover for everyone that will burn, loot, and chuck rocks.
Okay, but Trump came close to being rejected for a second time. Winning the popular vote by 1.5 points. This when a sitting president had only a 39% overall job approval. The GOP should have won in a landslide ALA 1980 when Jimmy Carter’s numbers were almost identical to Biden’s. Only the nomination of Trump prevented a republican landslide.Rejected 4 years earlier in a corrupted election cycle. Basement campaigns and closing down life in America. It worked once, not again.
Of course. Left wingers never, NEVER commit violent acts. You mean the MAGAt agent provocateurs.
Yes, of course.Really?
You are going to denounce authoritarianism one the Army's 250th birthday?
Is this a race to see just how despicable the left can get?
Free masks, rocks, concrete blocks, frozen water bottles, high explosive fireworks hidden in the right places, Antifa brothers and sisters will be there.....it should be a hoot, come one come all.
Bring your own hotdogs for the cookout on police vehicles and local businesses. Time to release the pent-up anger and frustrations, let loose and feel the power of mob-rule and the power of intimidation.
Just pretend you're anti-fascist and fight against the Big Orange Man we've created in your mind. We have you in our power and control, don't worry as you'll be safe, as we have your back.
.....this is what's really gonna happen. Of course, all said in jest of our radical leftists.
I'm going to be at Houston City Hall tomorrow morning. I'm bringing 4 flags. I plan on posting pics here, so stay tuned. You won’t get any bites from the left here. They have a laundry list of excuses for why they can’t come out from behind their keyboards.
Well, that sounds like bullshit to me. While I won't claim to speak broadly for "the left", I've already been to no less than three public demonstrations, including one in front of Fox's NewsCorp building on 6th Ave, where I was accused of being louder than the people using a bullhorn (I was!) and the one big march that started at the NYC Public Library and went up to Central Park.
We all need to get out and do more and more of this.
Besides himself dodging the draft with concocted "bone spurs", Trump has mocked the military his entire life, calling those who have died in our wars, including Vietnam vets, "losers". Your faux outrage at people who would stage a protest during his multi-million$-dollar dog-and-pony show birthday party rings as hollow as the heart of the man whose reputation you are so desperate to defend.Without a detailed list of the jobs being cut, this is just more propaganda.

Lazy. Did you even ready any of it?
I've driven through there. Nice place.Local events.
This isn't gonna be your decade.Yes, that's great.
But don't break stuff, throw stuff, burn stuff, and steal stuff.
How impactful do you think massive peaceful protests would be?This isn't gonna be your decade.
History teaches us they can have an effect. "Massive peaceful protests" during the Vietnam war resulted in changing public sentiment, and created political pressure, both of which at least contributed to ending the war, augmented of course by our military's failure to defeat the North. How impactful do you think massive peaceful protests would be?

Same back atcha'It is an honor to know you sir
And I almost wish I could be there - wandering out to the beaches around Vancouver Island at low tide, and digging oysters. It's been over 50 years since I was last out that way.I wish (almost) I could be there. But it's sunny and a breezy 72 degrees here on the Canadian west coast and we're all OK with the government we have....so far.
ICE aren't invited!(Be sure to bring your firebombs, chunks of concrete, and wear your masks.) Always seems this is the understood part not spoken. Peaceful protest never seem to make it when the democrat supports show up.
More people could have asked Ghandi if he hadn’t been blown away by a Hindu Nationalist. Just sayin.Ask Ghandi.
Ask Ghandi. I'm sure he'd say they can be pretty impactful.
Then again, it is America. Probably best to let the peaceful protests work. I don't think what comes next would be preferable.

Enjoy your weekend.
As one who has breathed tear gas in the name of American liberty I'm pretty sure peaceful protest are a complete waste of ****ing time.
Nothing changes if nothing burns
That's my feelings after the destructive protests for the last 8 years.Ask Ghandi. I'm sure he'd say they can be pretty impactful.

Well, here's hoping it doesn't get to that. You don't win over people with fire, you only drive the conflict to the point where only bloody resolution is possible. I don't really cheer for that, no matter how much I understand the trajectory.
