What a really disappointing development today. The Catholic Church has the chance to demonstrate itself to be a progressive church and completely dropped the ball.
 
A DEI Pope? Heads would explode!!

Besides, if the Vatican had selected a Pope of color, members of a certain demographic would demand to see his birth certificate.
 
If they had selected a Pope-of-color, would the OP complain that they did not select an openly gay pope?

Yeah I hate racism, glad they selected for character and competence instead. Say, speak of, surely folks have seen conclave.

I still remember when liberals built Hollywood so well, only to have "liberals" tear it down like they do everything else. Shit, I still remember when Ca. was our flagship State, it was red then, now it's gone gray.
