I'll admit to being guilty of that faux pas sometimes. If I come into a thread late I start reading along at the beginning, and when a post jumps out at me, I'll hit "reply with quote" without bothering to go through all the pages to see if someone else has responded to it or corrected it or whatever. I'm bad. People may see AW's original post (like I did) and just post the same thing I did without seeing her follow up post.
But I'm a lazy assed butt, I'll admit it.
Yeah, I do that too, but if I see that the conversation has morphed or something, I'll go back and edit my original post. I think it just bothers me more when posts/threads are outright ignored, and comments are made without any regard to the content of the thread.
Resulting in them looking like racists. SMH.
At 16:43, a female Cardinals fan begins chanting "Africa! Africa! Africa!" at the protesters.
At 17:10 a Cardinals fans tells the protesters that they need to remove their hats and pull up their pants.
Shouldn't they wait until a verdict has been decided? What if the police officer's accounts are correct? That would make these protesters idiots for trying to turn a scumbag into martyr. Shouldn't they also do these protests at related places like maybe in front of the police station or the place where the incident happened? You wouldn't go in front of a hospital to do a "save the whales" protest or go to Antarctica to do a "stop deforestation" protest or some other place that has absolutely nothing to do with what you are protesting.
I mean having a dissenting opinion doesn't make you a racist. But when your chants are racist, it kind of makes you look like one.

Beautiful.
THis is what I find amusing about this whole thing. These people are trying take a martyr out of someone who might be scumbag who assaulted a cop and or attempted to take the cop's life. They are going to look pretty stupid in the eyes of most Americans if the grand jury decides that there is not enough evidence to go to trial or even a court trial finds that the officer was justified. They should wait until the verdict is in.
I understand family and close friends stick up for their loved one. In the history of tv interviews I do not think a scumbag's loved ones ever said "yeah I knew he would do something like this". It's always "I am shocked", or "he never did anything like this before" or "he was such a nice person".

I agree. I guess the St. Louis Symphony forgot that this kid picked up a store owner by his throat while he robbed him.

Although the protest apparently occurred during intermission, and although many had clapped (either because they agreed with the position of the protestors or because of guilt for having not clapped), I would not have been all that surprised if many thought it was an inappropriate display. I certainly would have thought so, and I am moderately sympathetic toward the opinion of the protestors of the shooting. Protesting for its own sake has become far too prevalent among the Left.
Apples and oranges.
Dissenting opinion is one thing. Chanting racist slurs is entirely another. Entirely.
But I'm sure you already knew that.
Frankly, I'm not sure of they know what they are protesting. The incident is being treated like every other criminal case. Evidence has been gathered and a case is as we speak being presented to a grand jury.
These people don't care what the truth is. They have already made up their mind.
I think a lot of people have already made up their mind on both sides. It's very predictable, sadly.
Personally, I don't know what happened or what the cop's motivation may have been. A lot of conflicting evidence
Perhaps that culture of change would be best considered as a two way street. While they believe that the incident involving Mike Brown was an unnecessary escalation of force, their protests are mostly about a significant cultural problem involving the police and its relationship with the community.

Beautiful.
Black lives only matter if other black men aren't the ones taking them.
You are the only one saying that. But then again, if we talk about gun control, thats a no no..
Gun control ? All those Gang bangers in Chicago would abide by new gun laws ?
How is supporting a false narrative that Brown was murdered beautiful?Read more and video @: St. Louis Orchestra Applauds As Protestors Interrupt With 'Requiem For Mike Brown'

No. The vast majority of protesting is specifically about the shooting of Brown and their belief in a false narrative. While they believe that the incident involving Mike Brown was an unnecessary escalation of force, their protests are mostly about a significant cultural problem involving the police and its relationship with the community.

That was my point, yes. If you chant racist slurs, people might get the impression that you're racist.

These idiot protestors were chanting that they wanted Officer Wilson dead. They are in the wrong from the get.
No one on this side of the fence said the protestors racism and prejudice was okay.Maybe so. That doesn't make racism OK.
How is supporting a false narrative that Brown was murdered beautiful?
It is actually disgusting to see so many ignorant people.
Very few clapped.
And I didn't see any of the actual audience clap, but did see a group of protestors clapping though.
So maybe that is all who clapped, protestors.
No. The vast majority of protesting is specifically about the shooting of Brown and their belief in a false narrative.
Or are not hearing their chants?
There is a big demonstration coming for the 10 through the 13.
The motivation is still the false narrative in the shooting of Brown.

"If they can’t serve justice in this, the people have every right to go out and express their rage in a manner that is equal to what we have suffered,” said Ashley Yates, a co-founder of Millennial Activists United, who was arrested last week while protesting in Ferguson.

“We’re going to take our anger out on the people who have failed us, and if they are prepared to deal with that, then let them have at it,” said Yates. Poe said that while people in America often expected “casual revolution”, Ferguson may be “the moment when we can’t do that”.
