Specter: Protests not 'representative of America'

What is it about eating disorders that you don't understand, stekim?? Should we execute people with eating disorders?

Wow, this thread got U-G-L-Y.

What is it about eating disorders that you don't understand, stekim?? Should we execute people with eating disorders?

1. How do you know they have an "eating disorder"? You don't. You only know they are fat. 60% of Americans are overweight. How many of those people have "eating disorders"?
2. An "eating disorder" is not a handicap.
3. If one cannot identify one has an "eating disorder" by the time one tops 400 pounds and needs to be wheeled around the MegaLoMart in a rented cargo van, Stekim has little sympathy. You are not handicapped. You are a moron. Put the party sized sub and gallon of coke down and waddle to the phone.
4. Yes, in fact, we should execute people with eating disorders. Quickest solution to the problem.

Actually, "most" is defined as "more than half", "majority". 53% is "most" by any HONEST definition of the word.

In what world does 53% not equal "most"?

In the Messiah world. If someone doesn't support the Messiah, they're heretics and don't count. The Followers are saying, "damn it, the Messiah wants to destroy America, so we're going to ignore the people that want to save it."

So you are saying most people support disrupting town hall meetings? Or did you misunderstand his point? Or, most likely, are you just misrepresenting what he said?

I also noticed you did not include this quote from him:

I fully support the distruption of Nuremburg Rallies.

You got a problem with that?

I think we would be a better society had we not outlawed dueling.

They go there to express thier opinion and to shout down the misinformation and ignorance being sold to them as "UHC"...

Granted some get out of line but for the most part, passioned speaking is not "protesting the democratic proccess".....

Look at the links i have posted over the last couple days, show me who is "disrupting", its the union thugs, and paid plants by the left.

pssst.....

Are you people that ignorant, or simply to full of "hope" ("hope", with quotes, drops out the back end of the bull) to face reality?

The reality is that any government plan HAS to include rationing because the budget isn't unlimited. Someone, and that's the name of the Faceless Bureaucrat, has to decide who gets what.

So the Granny Board will become a reality.

My how things have changed for the left:

Oh, good gawd. Is this the part where the template says you need to blame Bush and Cheney next? Quick, say Big Oil, or...something.

The system needs reform. Virtually 100 percent of Americans believe that, so it's not like BO is starting this from a position of weakness. With an intelligent, well-researched, well-informed plan, it should be a slam dunk.

But this isn't about healthcare. This is about control. Obama doesn't give a rip about providing Americans with better healthcare; he wants to CONTROL their healthcare, making them even more dependent than his constituents already are on government. That ensures more elections for the Democrats.

He's failing miserably. Gitmo, Iraq, stimulus, cap and tax, unemployment.....

Meanwhile, the stock market is creeping upward. It crashed in fear when it realized this joke was going to win the presidency, and now it's rebounding because it's hopeful that his agenda is crashing and his popularity is drying up.

But you go ahead and blame it on the "right wing", which CAN'T STOP ANYTHING FROM PASSING ANYWAY!

This hits the proverbial nail on the head. Bravo..... :applaud

But you go ahead and blame it on the "right wing", which CAN'T STOP ANYTHING FROM PASSING ANYWAY!

It doesn't stop them from trying and fighting tooth and nail to protect their corporate profits and dividends.

As I said....Healthcare reform is going to pass. Just like you said....ultimately the GOP is too powerless to stop it.

You were doing good until you reverted to the GOP talking points of control and socialism. Here is the facts, the GOP had control under GW Bush and did nothing to change or help healthcare. When Clinton tried to reform healthcare, insurance companies were all on board with legislation that ended the practice of exclusion due to pre-existing conditions. Where are we now? No change. Once again, the GOP criticizes without presenting the slightest alternative besides the status quo.

This commerical always reminds me of the face of the GOP. Today it represents the faces of the teabaggers and angry protestors:
