More appalling is you making this comment given the far broader overreach of this administration. As I mentioned earlier, a better position would be one about the continued growth of the Executive Branch's power and the ceding of power by Congress. This is not a double standards issue because Trump has taken the Project 2025 play of expanding the Executive much further than any past president has.Did you complain when Biden and Obama acted with overreach? Did you say they both disgraced America and Americans with their executive overreach? Or did you save up all that anger specifically for Trump?

Currently Trump already has more EOs since Eisenhower (thus far), and has blown past any of the presidents in the past 40 years. Mind you, he's only a few months into his second term so we're not sure of what the final tally will be. Trump is only 18 EOs from eclipsing the total number of EOs of Obama and Biden, and Obama served two terms.
