Social Media Is The Problem

I think the events of 6th January utterly destroy that idea

Cause and effect, if physical harm is an effect, then social media most definitely can be a cause

Amazon, Google and Apple all agree

There are limits to what you can say (either verbally or on social media)
Inciting violence is one such limit.

...and to this we should applaud Twitter also for banning Trump and his vile outbursts and lies.

Self quoting to keep the spam going.

It's funnier when he immediately goes back and edits a post to say "Post deleted" instead of, you know....deleting it. He recently wrote a post exclaiming that he almost wrote a post. ROFL

Sorry, but you're late to the take-my-words-out-of-context game. :)

In case you're desperate for a participation trophy, here's what I actually said:

As Redress pointed out, social media is a tool. Using gun liberty supporter logic, social media has never physically harmed anyone, so it should not be censored.

Now if you REALLY want to get your noggin working, come to the recognition that I was making a roundabout argument in favor of some social media censorship! Can you do that? Your next response will decide!

Social media had the opposite affect on me. Used to run my mouth about guns - then I stumbled onto arguments from many conservatives that I had never heard. Now I don't run my mouth about guns anymore - I have come to respect their opinions. We won't agree about aspects of gun ownership but I would, now, never infringe on your rights. So - I would call that a win for gun rights advocates.

Learn to research before you rant.

Thanks, I didn't think it was either.
I think he was keying off you saying, "Used to run my mouth about guns." Like he was advising that you should read a Wiki or something before you engage. Which advice given by him will probably be the highlight in irony for the day.

Social media is a tool, just like every other. Your argument is like saying "I have a wrench, that is my problem".
So how do you explain that 'the tool' comes with it's own demanded political narratives? It's own political biases (blatantly apparent in it's selected censorship).

This analogy is hopelessly flawed.

The sheer irony of the OP has given me indigestion.

Why do you hate capitalism?
