Just a gut feeling based upon how drastically the Democrats have ratcheted up the attacks and fear mongering in the past week or so, but I'm guessing the reason for it is because they know they are in trouble.

Not it literally doesn't. There is a difference between Fox New's opinion hosts in the evenings, which are largely full of shit, and their actual news reporting. When they report that arrests are higher at the border now than ever, they aren't just inventing that out of thin air. When the report about crime being up in cities, they aren't just inventing that.

For example, I used to think Fox's reporting on out of control shoplifting and property crime in liberal West Coast cities was total bullshit. Then this last spring my wife and I spent a week in Seattle. Literally every store, every store, had armed security because the local DA was not prosecuting shoplifting and they would be robbed blind without their own security. Right in front of Pikes Place Market, a top tourist site in the city, there was open heroin use - seriously, you had to walk through addicts smoking or running heroin to get into the city's top tourist attraction. It was everywhere, in front of everyone - all over the city. You could not walk down the sidewalks without stepping around homeless encampments. All this in literally one of the richest cities on earth. It could only be described as dystopian. So, when you hear the squad and the far left of the Democratic party - that is their beliefs in action and people know it. By the way, the progressive wing of the Democratic Party, its only majority white faction of the party. That should tell you something.

Law and order is popular with everyone, period. Unlike the MAGA right, most people are very much in favor of immigration, but they also want strong borders. A party that doesn't meet voters where they are, will continue to lose elections, and in this case, to utterly reprehensible people. The Republican Party is beholden to it's crazy majority, the Democratic Party is allowing itself to be beholden to it's crazy minority. You can't win elections that way.

It is sad to hear that about Seattle. I lived in Olympia for a few years in the mid 90s and would often go to Seattle on the weekends. At that time, the city was clean, well kept, and just a fun place to hang out. The last time I was there was in the early 2000s.

The stats in New York speak for themselves. Ignore the nightmare year of 2020, and just look at the increase in crime during the last year. Between July 2021 and July 2022 shooting incidents in New York increased by almost 14%. The number of murders increased by almost 35%.
Of course, most of us are lucky enough not to get shot. So it’s easy for some people to be lax in their judgments. But the same figures exist in almost every other area of crime. A 41% increase in grand larceny. A 37% increase in robberies. A 26% rise in burglaries. All just in the course of a year.

This is a flawed argument because virtually all cities are ran by Democrats. So if you name a well ran city, chances are, it's ran by Democrats. If you name a poorly ran city, again, chances are, it is ran by Democrats.

So from the view point of millions of people on the right.....we're just finding it a bit hard to believe that a plurality of voters were out of there ****ing minds enough to elect a senile dumbass and his KOOK of a running mate.

Throw in allegations of election fraud here and there and screwy voting machines and you begin to understand why millions of people find Biden getting legitimately elected a bit implausible.

And there you have it...that's how millions of people on the right feel about the last election.....

Your guy lost-and it wasn't even close. He lost by over FIVE MILLION votes in the popular vote and he lost by what the jackass described as a "landslide" when he won in 2016-same EC results as his loss in 2020.
As the saying goes, you are entitled to your opinion, but you are not entitled to your own set of facts and not all opinions are created equal. Its telling that the jackass got absolutely SHELLACKED in 2020 by a "senile dumbass".
