I see absolutely nothing wrong with the kids being in a teen-safe, chaperoned, secure environment (with security on premise). Nothing wrong at all.
I could understand that perhaps some parents personally might object with the end being midnight, but I really don't see anything wrong there either, given it being a weekend during summer vacation.
You might take note of this:
"We tried to give the teens WHAT WE THOUGHT WAS A SAFE PLACE TO HAVE A GOOD TIME. Ages 12-17. There was armed security as well as full security, inside and out. As the club was closing and parents were picking their children up.....that's when all this took place. There was nothing more we could of done as you see it was not kids at the party that did this despicable act."

Now if you'd like to argue midnight is personally too late for you yourself to be picking your teen up, that's fair.
But to argue this "bad parenting", parental malfeasance, moral turpitude, or in anyway reflects upon or is responsible for this shooting, is wholly unfounded and unsupportable.
