Well, troops to Greenland might well involve NATO Article 5, and he can demand in one hand and crap on the other, as the saying goes.Read a piece last week the author of which I've forgotten where he suggested that Trump deliberately picked Canada and Greenland because they are both baby's milk on the world stage. No one is going to go to war over either, he figures.
You can bet on the fact he will send troops to Greenland as part of "threat neutralization program" and get away with it. He will then demand sub marine bases in Canada, re-igniting the 1950's "No Nukes"debate that damn near tore the country apart (when VP Nixon was driving the need to bring Canada into nuclear nightmare)
He's a bully. Bully's always know the weakest spot of the weakest opponent and target that.
If he thinks Canada is a pushover, 'babies milk', he hasn't read a word of history. Actual history, not the pap fed to American teenagers to make them proud and loyal. Canada punches way above it's weight when it's time to punch, and has never been defeated. Ever. Also, Canada has the global cachet that means that Trump getting military on us would be basically declaring war on the world.
