While doing my usual rounds on the news sites I found this:
The guy who tried to sell his house by stressing it was "slightly haunted," now admits his cunning marketing ploy may have backfired.
"Slightly haunted" house may have spooked buyers - NBC News.com

I did some digging and found the listing on Zillow and he still has the slightly haunted description posted.
1217 Marion St, Dunmore, PA 18509 is For Sale - Zillow

Note: I have a txt copy of the listing in case it gets pulled. Just ask for it.

Maybe he thought that potential buyers might be enticed by the thought of Ghost Hunters doing a segment on their new house.

Wow. It looks like a pretty nice house. Unfortunately for Mr. Leeson, people tend to be irrational and superstitious when it comes to purchasing houses.

I loved the house, until I saw the kitchen. That was a deal breaker. Oh, and the fact that it was in Pennsylvania.

I'm still trying to figure out why some of the photos were taken with a cell phone. I have a friend who is a real estate agent and he loves to point out when other agents suck. Like taking cell phone pics.
