You should reserve that luxury escape plan for when you really need it. And those days will come.... It could be a natural disaster, or a war or an other epidemic. But in those times you need that money. Now you already do not have money and when shit hits the fan, you need it and it is not there. There is limits to how much you can raise your debt ceiling...

Look at Norway. That is proper management. They set an example for the rest of the world.

Number 5, without the maybe, but not because he is Trump. It’s because of what he says and does. If any other president had said/done what Trump has, the same criticism would follow. Trump is not criticized for most of his policies, which are more or less standard conservative stuff, but for crookedness, insults, and lawless actions. And pul-leeze, don’t pretend you don’t know what I am talking about. His allies in the GOP (and I would assume even some cabinet members) just roll their eyes because his policies suit their agenda.

It's largely over Trump damaging the left's frail egos. Going back to the 2016 race, the Hillary camp assumed the GOP nominee would be Jeb Bush. Jeb was such a moderate lightweight that they considered him an easy target. Then Trump came along and started beating out the field of 17. The Hillary camp decided that Trump would be an even easier target. They saw him as a buffoon and a joke and did not take him seriously, at least until about the second debate. Even then, they still assumed victory. When that did not happen, they lost their collective minds. They were massively embarrassed that someone they thought was reality TV show clown, beat the most politically connected woman in the nation. They threw everything they could at him during his first term, including two impeachments and the Russian Collusion hoax. Then in hopes of preventing him from running in 2024, they resorted to more weaponization of the Justice department> Despite all of that he is still standing and won a second term. A complete political novice at least until 2016 has now beat them twice. They will never get over it
