Quite right, the successful United Nations assistance to the ROK in defending itself in a civil war between itself and the DPRK resulted in the establishment of a -brutal, oppressive, military dictatorship- kind, honest, benevolent, progressive, democratic society in the ROK under the -brutal, oppressive, military dictatorships- kind, honest, benevolent, progressive, democratic leaderships of Syngman Rhee and Park Chung-hee, Chung Doo-hwan (between 1948 and 1998).[/S]

South Korea today certainly is a progressive and democratic country, whereas North Korea has only gotten more and more psychotically brutal.....which is a clear cut demonstration of why the UN’s intervention to stop the Kim family cult from enslaving South Korea was a good one.

If by “amazing position” you mean “would have struggled to put up a fight against Romania or Yugoslavia” that is 🙄

I specifically provided examples of the allies it is especially important to defend.

Lol what? Again, you can’t just pull a general out of thin air.

Another reason your percentage plan is a flop is that not not every military is the same size from the start, which means that the percentages don’t add up. Ten percent of the British Army is not the same number as ten percent of, say, the Belgian Army.

The known historical fact which is actually relevant is that the CPC has promised to invade if Taiwan gives up claims to the mainland, which makes your complaining about it having said claims patently absurd.
