Trump has refused to allow many of his subordinates to testify sighting all kinds of privilege, but mainly just having them refuse. A majority of those have refused and the Dems in the House are going to add multiple counts of obstruction as part of the impeachment due to Trump's actions. It would seem that they had their chance to testify and refused to do so. My question then is whether the people who refused under Trump's orders should be allowed to testify in the impeachment in the House or the Trial in the Senate?

Let them.

Sounds like they don't have anything good for Trump's defense, or they'd jump at the opportunity to help prevent his impeachment in the House.

What was that thing Trump said about people who "take the 5th"?

I worry that they might lie and get away with it because the GOP controls the Senate.

The House managers that try the case can draft referrals for perjury, and sit on them until 2021 if need be.

If this is anything like a trial, cross examination will shred their credibility. They may prevail in the Senate, but the public will also be watching, and will vote in November. This is a trial with two juries.

I agree with this 100%. This DOJ will not do anything, but the next democratic WH (2021) will appoint an AG who will prosecute all of them including the president.

Their chances have come and gone. They think their so tough, I hope the house does not let this go. !!

Well if the past record is any indication those who commit perjury trying to protect trump wind up in prison.
