I think most ignorant democrat supporters are not aware of the progressive tax rates already in place from decades of bipartisan legislation establishing proper progressive taxation imposed fairly on All Americans.

I bet they're a smaller group than the most ignorant Repub supporters who aren't aware of all the deductions and tax scams high-priced tax lawyers use to ensure taxation is imposed a lot less fairly on rich Americans.

They're what allows the mega-rich to pay the same rate as their overworked and underpaid secretaries...

The poor think their congressmen have given the rich too many tax breaks? Does the majority in Congress think the majority in past and present Congresses have given the rich too many tax breaks? We should try to find out why Congress has put certain tax laws in place and why. Simply claiming the rich are not paying their fair share seems needlessly empty and biased. Why have our legislators done what they have done? We need more facts and less empty biased rhetoric.

Everybody elects politicians who give tax breaks to the rich they cannot identify or explain with specifics? Why does everybody keep electing those bozos who keep doing the wrong things?

Why is it unfair for the rich to keep money with which to invest or spend as they see fit? Is it wrong to be rich? Because other people are poor and envious?

One hundred million dollars or more qualifies you to run for office, all others need not apply. These folks got wealthy somehow, working hard, two jobs, babysitting at night, mowing lawns during the day etc. Or they are extremely smart and had a good idea which made them millions. If we get rid of all the riff-raff and only allow the wealthy to run it would make america even greater. We can count on them to be honest, they don't need more money. Will make decisions based in fact and not emotion since they are under no fiscal constraints to cloud their judgement. And finally we love to idolize the rich in america, so why not let them rule over us and protect us? If we the riff-raff treat them nicely enough they will in turn trickle down on us.

No. The constitution is that we don't divide people by identity, or how many dollars are in your bank account. There is no reason to change constitutional requirements on this matter.

If the rich feel their country taxes them at too high a rate, if their allegiance to their country is based solely on money, they're free to emigrate. Most first world and western European countries tax rates are higher, but they have the wealth to live anywhere. They could always set themselves up in some third world hell hole and live like kings, at least for a while. No one's stopping them.
