So our feral cat Shorty Pants never plays. He's too nervous. But tonight!! OH TONIGHT!!! He was playin' in the hall...playin' in the hall...jumpin' in the hall...runnin' in the hall...playin' in the hall. How CUTE!!!

And then Bob-Bob...playin' in the hall...playin' in the hall...jumpin' in the hall...runnin' in the hall...playin' in the hall. Wow!!!!

AND THEN!!! Bob-Bob and Shorty Pants playin' in the hall...playin' in the hall...jumpin' in the hall...runnin' in the hall...playin' in the hall. Double Wow!!!! They're so damned CUTE!!!!

That must be some toy!!!! Some wild-assed good toy!!!! Or . . .

My Princess is also the nervous sort, and doesn't play much.

But she got a real kick when she heard the mouse that was chewing away inside our walls. She followed it around wherever it went, barked at it, and tried to dig her way through the floor to get at it. That's when the mouse decided to move on.

She spent the next few days patrolling for the mouse.
