Pamela Geller has been allowed to run her fascist propaganda before.
Have you seen Rachael Ray wearing the icon of Yasser Arfatbastard and the bloody Islamic jihad.
That's no excuse to deny others their 1st Amendment rights. If Muslims are offended to the point of violence, then they'll suffer the concequences of their crimes; perhaps other Muslims will come to understand, by that example, that they have to moderate their religious feelings.
Pam Geller is the nutter who went Full Metal Whackypants because Rachael Ray wore this in a Dunkin Donuts ad:
To which Geller had to say:
RACHAEL RAY, DUNKIN DONUTS JIHAD TOOL | Pamela Geller, Atlas Shrugs
Yes, this lunatic went crazy over a PLAID SCARF. Clearly a sign of the impending caliphate, one bear claw at a time.
Pamela Geller is INSANE.
This recent parade didn't gain as much attention as the ads did. ‘Pro-Terror’ (United American)Muslim Day Parade – NYC- 2014- pics/vids | the "silent" majority no more!
There a fear by some of offending Muslims and Islam moreso than other groups or religions and, as well, we might also ask ourselves if anything on that ad is untrue. Given the amount of Islamic violence against innocent people throughout the world in the past few decades I think it's time we dropped our concerns about offending anyone. This does not mean we should be attacking or defaming innocent individual Muslims but I see no problem in attacking the religion which is committing so much violence in the world today.
Bull ****. Do you think an anti-semite would be allowed to run an ad defaming Jews in the New York subway? What are some of the favorite memes of that brand of idiot? Lets say they ran an ad talking about the Rothschilds and how the evil Jew bankers were subverting the good Christian family, or some other such nonsense. What is the likelihood it would be allowed to run? Of course there is NO chance!! The truth is the opposite of what you say. Saying bigoted things about Muslims is the ONLY form of bigotry which is politically correct in this country. If a person said something bigoted against Jews, black people, women, Mexicans, etc they would be shunned from the mainstream national public discourse. If they say something bigoted about Muslims, the worst they get is criticism for their bigotry (which they of course decry as being political correctness run amok, instead of accurately calling bigotry what it is), but they are allowed to stay in the debate.
I don't know what world you come from, but people say **** about Jews all the time. If it's not griping over treatment of Hamas (or Palestinians, whatever their called) then everyone's complaining about them being so rich and greedy.
Exhibit A:
Please provide a link of a mainstream political commentator, politician, activist, or anyone else who describes Jews as rich and greedy. The bit about Israel is irrelevant nonsense. Criticism of the actions of a state is not racism. It would be like saying you hate black people because you don't like Mugabe or you hate Asians because you criticized China or North Korea. Or that criticizing American policy is equivalent to hating white people. That is more bull ****, invented by people like Frank Luntz to deflect criticism away from Israel's ongoing occupation and colonization of Palestine. So I don't want a link criticizing Israel, I want one criticizing Jews. Don't worry, I will wait.
PS. You added that link after I responded, so I will say HAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAH!! South Park. They criticize Muslims, Jews, Mormons, black people, and everyone else. It is satire of anti-Semitism NOT anti-semitism itself. We are not talking about a comedic cartoon, we are talking about political activists and commentators.
This is a personal attack AND it make no sense.
We can all agree that her reaction to the Rachel Ray ad was far over the top, but let's not dismiss the subliminal messaging that has been a significant part of advertising since its inception.
Ahh so you agree that this is part of the impending caliphate?

Quit with the victim card. It's not a personal attack. You seem to think anything that remotely connects to you is a "personal attack." If you feel it's a personal attack, push the report post button and stop talking about it in-thread.
Conservatives have talked about all sorts of things like banning the construction of mosques and preventing Muslims from immigrating to this country. Even to the point of ludicrous things like freaking out when high schools offered classes in Farsi.
I've just been Googling about this but can't find any info on whether this scarf actually was what Geller said it was. Was it?

It's similar. The replica of Arafat's is sold on E-bay for about $30.00. I think fashion consultants picked out this thing and Ray wore it for the advertising shoot. Most Americans are unaware of the symbolism attached to the kifayah in this case, so I seriously doubt it was meant to be anything other than a fashion statement. IOW, if you're looking to be offended, you don't have far to look. Looks like Geller was wrong on the specifics and probably wrong in the larger sense as well. I think Ray was trying to sell food - not some radical Islamic view.
That is a bold claim. It sounds like it is meant to be funny, but I can't tell if it is or not.....

Islam is a politically correct religion. Liberals are obligated to defend it. I believe the anti-American/anti-democracy ellements make Islam acceptable to Liberals.
Muslims are among the most conservative people in the world. Muslim states hate liberals, hate gays, believe in traditional gender roles, believe in laws based on religious values- a natural fit with conservatives.
"Lets put provocative ads IN a terrorists favorite target. Nothing could go wrong there."
Great plan.
That ad was quite tame in comparison. That one can't tell the difference is very strange.Absolutely. There were no widespread complaints when American Muslims for Palestine placed there ad on buses a few months earlier. It seems the criticisms can only flow in one direction, and that is very strange.

Islamic countries prefer big goverment statism; total government control. There's nothing about Islam that compares to American Conservatism.
Yeah, let's do away with The Constitution, because we're afraid of the Muslims.
