It’s a common misconception that older , less educated people voted to leave. The reality is that the largest single group that voted to remain were over 65’s. Sure , over all the average age of the leave block was higher and therefore would have had far less opportunity to go to Uni ( when I was a teenager in the 80’s only 5% went to Uni...now it’s about half) but that also implies that you think Uni makes people wiser than working for a living...and we all know that ain’t true...have you ever met students lol ? It’s true that most jocks voted to remain in the EU...but that shouldn’t be over stated...1 in 3 voted to leave and the scots nats have inflamed the anti U.K. sentiment up there...so things ain’t as straight forward as you would assume.I'd opine, like here, older less educated want out of the EU.
