Science looks fully corrupt to me

Yes, they are about very different topics but in both fields having a lot of knowledge and experience is very valuable. That is how it is in all sciences and professions. Professionals with years of experience who do strong, well-reviewed and thoroughly tested work have a lot of trust. That is what I aim for as a programmer and what most scientists strive for. I know several scientists personally and all of them are smart people and excellent at what they do.

If you think their methods are flawed then please tell me what your evidence is that they made some horrible mistakes.

We know, because the media has fried a lot of doctors and drug companies.

Did you know that the people in Italy, and the only times had almost no heart disease? Surely you can tell us why, right? And once people start putting things together, they start to question a great many things.

No I can not tell you why.

If you want to prove fraud in radiometric dating then you have to show widespread fraud in radiometric dating, not fraud in drug companies or fraud among medical doctors who have nothing to do with the people involved with radiometric dating.

Sorry, it's late and I have to go to work tomorrow but I'll talk more on this tomorrow and will give me hopefully time to consider more.

I might come across as a bit harsh but my point is that if you going to accuse a whole profession with a good reputation full of experienced scientists of fraud then you really need some very strong and specific evidence to back it up.

Everyone in every single country has a copy and paste education, nothing more.

So you're rebelling against authority, and you're going to reinvent the wheel.

That's your schtick?

You sound like Bassman. Are you Bassman?

Okay I checked out your link a googled one person, Joe Taylor. And here is what your link says about him:

"Joe Taylor, paleontologist and fossil museum director from Texas".

Problem is here:

There’s just one problem: Joe Taylor isn’t a paleontologist. Hell, he’s not even an amateur paleontologist (a term that has gained unfair stigma in recent times). Joe is what is known as a young-earth creationist.

This is the Wikipedia article about Joe's *cough* Museum
The Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum is a creationist museum in Crosbyton, Texas, opened in 1998.[1] Its motto is "Digging up the facts of God's Creation: One fossil at a time."

The Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum, "the largest Creation Fossil Museum in the world," according to its literature, fills an old downtown department store in Crosbyton, Texas. It is low-tech and hand-built, mostly by Joe. - See more at: Mt. Blanco Fossil Museum, Crosbyton, Texas

Ah I can now see the reasonings behind this thread: a thinly veiled creationist propaganda and anti-science hit piece. That explains everything.

Oh brother. So now they've gone beyond evolution and dinosaurs, and they think there's no light and our minds actually "reach out" to capture pictures? Is that it?

Jeez... this stuff is beyond medieval, it takes us all the way back to the stone age.

"Anti-science". What a hoot. Yeah man, if you want to reject modern models and live like the Amish be my guest.

You'll excuse me if I opt out of these threads though, I really don't need any of this drama.

When it comes to the truth, the last people I'm going to listen to are the ones who are stuck in the past. You remember the past, right? People burnt at the stake as heretics for telling the truth, people singled out as witches for experimenting with chemistry, innocents tortured and forced to "confess" by officials of the church... No offense man, but that three thousand year old book may have been "written by God" but it was translated by man and whoever did it must have missed a few things.

I'm sticking with science and the modern world. Good luck with your search for the truth, I hope you find it.

Science conference Dino bones
It's clear to see that an entire conference by scientists is being ignored by 2 morons.
Read carefully. The two chairmen over-rode the entire conference. They must hate science.
Researchers have found a reason for the puzzling survival of soft tissue and collagen in dinosaur bones - the bones are younger than anyone ever guessed. Carbon-14 (C-14) dating of multiple samples of bone from 8 dinosaurs from Texas, Alaska, Colorado, and Montana revealed that they are only 22,000 to 39,000 years old. Since dinosaurs are thought to be over 65 million years old, the news is stunning. And more than some can tolerate. After the AOGS-AGU conference in Singapore, the abstract was removed from the conference website by two chairmen because they could not accept the findings. Unwilling to challenge the data openly, they erased the report from public view without a word to the authors or even to the AOGS officers, until after an investigation. It won't be restored.
By the way, the two doddering old morons that overrode an entire conference know that if those two morons in charge had let the conference stand, it would disapprove long age, which is the basis for evolution.

Carbon-14 dating dinosaur bones

Oh fun you are a young Earther!

Kimoto dragons have been around for a long time and they still are dinosaurs.

No big surprise there.

Must be some other form or species of dragon then.

No. Varanids only evolved around 40 million years ago, and Komodo dragons more recently than that, and are descended from mosasaurs, not dinosaurs. Pigeons, on the other hand, are dinosaurs.

Moderator's Warning:
Conspiracy theory crap goes to the Conspiracy Theory Forum.

You obviously don't have a clue as to how many scientists around the world have come to Test these bones not only in this country but other countries as well.

Name some of them.

Of course. We are all part of the conspiracy and we are very well paid.

Removing well gathered field data that works against this bloody evolution theory does not pay as it use to though, Zyzy. Why! When one of our ancestors back at 30's corrupted data to as to ruin religion he was paid a fortune! Had a yacht and a villa as well as two sacks of gold!

Now we are just paid in millions :( . What is a science corruptor to do with millions these days?

I swear, if they keep pushing for it, one of these days Zyzy, you will see, I will myself declare the actual empirical evidence that we have been holding until now and put religion back to its rightful uncorruptible place where it always belonged (but could not due to us!).

But what about the Hindus?

But what about the Hindus?

Talk to the Regional Science Corrupting Officer for India and Bangladesh (RSCOIB). I am covering Europe, USA, and Canada.

I heard rumors that the Science Corruptor over there is paid more though? Did you get that?

Perhaps because it is more difficult to fool an older than Judaism/Chsristianism/Muslim religion.

Them Hindu's! They sit alone meditating in peace and quiet knowing too full well that the other religions are needlessly capitalizing on meditation that one (such as them) can easily do it for free!

Difficult to corrupt science over there, so perhaps it justifies that RSCOIB's are paid better?

But can you live with that imbalanced pay fact?

Oh yes. My biggest problem is that the Hindus do not believe that the Earth was created 6000 years ago. The liaison meeting are a nightmare.

deleted, seeing how this crap is now in the appropriate forum.

At about the 30 minute mark of this video a scientist says that science fraud is common.

It's clear that the government can find scientists willing to sell out and lie.

Here's a scientists who say that it's impossible to get something published in a science journal if it goes against the official version.

We can't say there isn't any BS in what the mainstream says about science.

This guy makes a pretty good case if he's not lying about where he gets his info.

Whether he's lying remains to be seen I suppose.

If that were true, c14 should be in every single fossil, which means science really can't tell one from another.
It means that they cannot tell the age from c-14 dating.
But they can still tell on fossil from another fossil.
Perhaps you should think before you talk.
Thanks for the internet "advice" snark.
Never gotten any of that before.
It makes you look smart and wise.
And, I am sure it is very helpful.

Science looks fully corrupt to me

There's nothing about science that can be corrupt for the same reason that guns don't kill. Some people in all known disciplines, however, can be quite corrupt and corruptible.

But not the religious!

They cannot be corruptible because their hearts and souls must be pure so as they can be allowed to enter heaven. wink/wink.

The only "corruption" within the scientific community is that many are starting to ignore the replication part of the scientific method.

Well that's not the only corruption but it is part of the corruption process in some cases. The NIST 9/11 "investigation" and subsequent reports are a perfect example of deliberate failure to use the scientific method and renders their findings acceptable strictly on faith (i.e. "the check is in the mail, trust me").

I'm just a layman so all I can do is sit on the fence but how did those fossils get into Jurrasic and Cretaceous strata if they're really less than fifty thousand years old? That doesn't add up.

Refusing to test the soft tissue is pretty silly.
