I posted this in another homeschool thread because I think it's funny, but I was homeschooled all the way until college. We traveled full time due to my dad's work.

And I ended up a "woke" communist who agrees with a lot of the academic prescriptions of CRT. Since we weren't in school and traveled a lot, a lot of my history education was just literally going to state/national parks or local museums. It's hard to not agree with a lot of the 1619 project when you've literally seen the slave quarters in the old per-revolution mansions.

If I had a dollar for every parent that claimed they were going to homeschool or move their kid to private school, I wouldn't have to worry about how shitty teacher pay is.

It seems to me the government (republicans) in some states are now deciding what is allowable and what is not. That's one of the things I so admire about the gop, they stay out of business that doesn't concern them, like cruise lines and academics in schools. Shouldn't teachers be the ones deciding what to teach and not our politicians?

Now there's a true libertarian. As he gets older, he probably will be ridiculed and mocked for his views on freedom, but most libertarians are able to shrug off these things.
