Remember the Bundy brothers, Ryan and Ammon, the loons who occupied a wildlife refuge in Oregon? It seems that Ryan has some rather 'interesting' ideas about the structure of society in America OR perhaps he is simply trying for a "too crazy to prosecute" outcome

Ryan Bundy wants $1M to be ‘defendant’ or ‘judge’

PORTLAND, Ore. (KOIN) — In bizarre court documents filed Tuesday, Ryan Bundy declared himself sovereign from state and federal government and wanted to be paid $1 million to accept “the role” of defendant or inmate.

Bundy, the brother of co-defendant Ammon Bundy in the case of the takeover of the Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, is acting as his own attorney. The federal court filings were submitted by his court-appointed legal assistant.

Ryan Bundy said he does not accept the role as defendant or inmate without fair and just compensation of $1 million. He also said he is willing to play the “role” of “judge” or “bailiff” for $1 million.

Ryan and his brother Ammon in May sued Multnomah County, where they are being held awaiting trial for violations of their constitutional rights - including the Second Amendment
Ryan Bundy Doesn?t Understand Why He Can?t Have His Guns. In Jail.

Declare him an enemy invader and not subject to American protections. Them summarily execute him without trial. He's wasted enough tax-payer dollars. Him and his family's entire poisonous blood are nothing but a stain on this nation.

They do have some whacko ideas. Here's an article that's got a classic quote from one of his many filings:

Ryan Bundy Declares Himself 'Idiot' Not Subject To US Courts . News | OPB

“I, ryan c, man, am an idiot of the ‘Legal Society’; and; am an idiot (layman, outsider) of the ‘Bar Association’; and; i am incompetent; and; am not required by any law to be competent,”

Goodness knows what that means in 'sovereign citizen' which I don't speak, but it's hilarious stuff to the outside world. Yes, you appear to both an 'idiot' and 'incompetent.'

And what kind of sovereign citizen code is that punctuation? Bizarre stuff. :doh

BTW anyone on twitter and interested in these clowns and the sovereign citizen movement should follow @jjmacnabb. She's a writer for Forbes who covers these guys and is an expert on their beliefs. Pretty fascinating stuff. Apparently what he's arguing isn't at all unusual for sovcit types.

Their father once started a sentence with 'Let me tell you something about the negroes...' and half a dozen posters on this insignificant forum quickly rose to defend statements made that way. These people aren't as 'unusual' as people may think.

So your aim with this post was to be even more ludicrous than Ryan Bundy himself.

Well played.

'Sovereign Citizen' - O.K., that explains it! :doh

So these clowns *do* believe they are above the law, as their actions displayed.

Eventually it will sink in that their beliefs were delusions, and then realize: "Wow! We totally fudged ourselves!

Yep - they did it to themselves totally, and could've avoided the whole thing.

Good riddance!

Maybe, we just need to run with a better crowd? :lamo

This forum use to have much better posters. Some of them are no longer here.

If he's not a US citizen and he invaded a government facility, put him in Gitmo.
