Russia to Spend $1 Trillion for War with NATO

The U.S. helping carry out a genocide is something it’s absolutely worth “worrying about”.

Uh….thats clearly not even remotely true. The Arab states don’t want to give Israel a convenient spot to force millions of starving civilians into without any hope they’ll be able to return home.
Yes the arabs want their hostages to stay where they are and don't want them to ever have a home either. Remember that both Hamas and Israel are against any Palestinian State and the arabs have been financing Gaza with the same goal in mind.

The Palestinians already have a home. Israel’s desire to steal their land doesn’t change that.

….. Hamas is a Palestinian nationalist group. What were you talking about?

The can make more than that selling oil and gas.
Can they? Wo's buying it and how would it get there?

You honestly believe that if Russia went to war with NATO that any of their pilelines or refineries would be operable two weeks into the conflict?

Everyone said they were not going to invade Ukraine so......Their intentions are clear enough.

Russia is spending its shrinking energy revenue's faster than it collects them which is why the Russian GDP is contracting.

And Ukraine is striking refineries and petroleum tank farms inside Russia every other day.

They are living off their wealth fund which is running out.

But history is a good gauge of that. When Putin said every land that has had a Russian boot on is theirs forever you ignore it at your peril.
I don't doubt that Putin feels that way. How does he feel about taking on NATO?

The latest about the murderously retarded US/NATO scumbags... It happened 30 years ago and they're just beginning to tell us about it now... One wonders what the murderous neocon scumbags are doing now:

The ethnic cleansing of hundreds of thousands of Serbs by a US-backed Croatian leader was premeditated, according to newly-uncovered files revealing the operation’s planning. After the bloodshed subsided, Richard Holbrooke, a top US diplomat, assured him: “We said publicly… that we were concerned, but privately, you knew what we wanted.”

August 4, 2025 marks the 30th anniversary of Operation Storm. Little known outside the former Yugoslavia, the military campaign unleashed a genocidal cataclysm that violently expelled Croatia’s entire Serb population. Dubbed “the most efficient ethnic cleansing we’ve seen in the Balkans” by Swedish politician Carl Bildt, Croat forces rampaged UN-protected areas of the self-declared Serb Republic of Krajina, looting, burning, raping and murdering their way across the province. Up to 350,000 locals fled, many on foot, never to return. Meanwhile, thousands were summarily executed.

As these hideous scenes unfolded, UN peacekeepers charged with protecting Krajina watched without intervening. Meanwhile, US officials strenuously denied the horrifying massacres and mass displacement amounted to ethnic cleansing, let alone war crimes. NATO member state governments were far more interested in the “sophistication” of Zagreb’s military tactics. One British colonel heading a UN observer mission in the area gushed, “whoever wrote that plan of attack could have gone to any NATO staff college in North America or Western Europe and scored an A-plus.”

Widely overlooked documents reviewed by The Grayzone help explain why Croatian forces were graded so highly: Operation Storm was for all intents and purposes a NATO attack, carried out by soldiers armed and trained by the US and directly coordinated with other Western powers. Despite publicly endorsing a negotiated peace, Washington privately encouraged Zagreb to employ maximum belligerence, even as their ultranationalist Croat proxies plotted to strike with such ferocity that the country’s entire Serb population would “to all practical purposes disappear...”

LOL The Serbs committed the worst atrocities since WWII on the Croatian muslims and many were charged and convicted for genocide. The US and NATO wanted and end to that. Next you will deny the holocaust.

Although many different ethnic and religious groups had resided together for 40 years under Yugoslavia’s repressive communist government, this changed when the country began to collapse during the fall of communism in the early 1990s. The provinces of Slovenia and Croatia declared independence, and war quickly followed between Serbia and these breakaway republics. Ethnic tensions were brought to the forefront, and people who had lived peacefully for years as neighbors turned against each other and took up arms. When Bosnia attempted to secede, Serbia – under Slobodan Miloševic’s leadership – invaded with the claim that it was there to “free” fellow Serbian Orthodox Christians living in Bosnia.

Starting in April 1992, Serbia set out to “ethnically cleanse” Bosnian territory by systematically removing all Bosnian Muslims, known as Bosniaks. Serbia, together with ethnic Bosnian Serbs, attacked Bosniaks with former Yugoslavian military equipment and surrounded Sarajevo, the capital city. Many Bosniaks were driven into concentration camps, where women and girls were systematically gang-raped and other civilians were tortured, starved and murdered.

In 1993, the United Nations (UN) Security Council declared that Sarajevo, Goradze, Srebrenica and other Muslim enclaves were to be safe areas, protected by a contingent of UN peacekeepers. But in July 1995, Serbs committed the largest massacre in Europe since World War II in one such area, Srebrenica. An estimated 23,000 women, children and elderly people were put on buses and driven to Muslim-controlled territory, while 8,000 “battle-age” men were detained and slaughtered. The so-called safe area of Srebrenica fell without a single shot fired by the UN.

In 1994, NATO initiated air strikes against Bosnian Serbs to stop the attacks. In December 1995, U.S.-led negotiations in Dayton, Ohio (The Dayton Peace Accords) ended the conflict in Bosnia, and a force was created to maintain the ceasefire. Since the end of the conflict, the International Criminal Tribunal for Yugoslavia (ICTY) at The Hague has charged more than 160 persons. Convictions have included Serb, Croat and Bosniaks, though Serbians and Bosnian Serbs have faced the majority of charges. In 2001, former-President Miloševic was captured, but he died in his cell in 2006. Radovan Karadžic, the supreme commander of the Bosnian Serb armed forces, was captured in 2008, and is being tried in The Hague on genocide charges. Ratko Mladic, chief of staff of the Bosnian Serb Army, was captured in May 2011 and is charged with 11 counts, including genocide and crimes against humanity.

Hmm. Glad to see you finally acknowledge the Yugoslav Wars were not, in fact, a minor conflict, as you have kept trying to assert time I’ve pointed out their existence.

Declaring Bosnian Muslims to be Croats is certainly a…. choice, given Croatia committed plenty of its own war crimes as it tried to claw out a chunk of the country.

It was a genocide but nothing compared to Putin's full scale invasion and attempted genocide of Ukraine.

Uh….no, the Yugoslav Wars were not even remotely “nothing” given they saw immense conflict and bloodshed.

I guess I have to keep repeating it:
Vladimir Putin DOES NOT HAVE a trillion dollars to spend on his war.

End of story.

LOL There are a million casualties in the immensely larger Ukraine invasion.

That was the number for at least a decade of military spending. So a $100 Billion a year is the plan to attack NATO. Russia is on a permanent war economy and can no longer function without it. Without sanctions Russia has made that from exporting fossil energy in a few months.

Which is why sanctions on Russia must remain in place.

And secondary sanctions on India and China need to be imposed.

Trump is chomping at the bit to lift Russian sanctions but Putin is so obsessed with taking Ukraine that he cannot find an excuse to do it.
