Russia Is About To Overrun Ukraine’s Defenses – Why Are There No Peace Negotiations?

Tell that to all the people who still wish it was 1950.
You mean the Russian apologists or Putin sympathizers who want a return of the Soviet Union.
“Weaker opponent”? Ukraine would have to be far stronger if any of your claims were actually true. You can’t have it both ways dude.
No, it just means the Russian military is incompetent and doesn't know what it's doing.

No, it just means the Russian military is incompetent and doesn't know what it's doing.

Nope, I mean the many Americans who saw things like the Civil Rights Movement, opposition to the Vietnam War and condemnation of the US crushing democracies worldwide as a “Russian plot”.

Gee, so what does that say about the military that can’t seem to beat them?

Ask Russia. It's the one having a hard time beating the opponent it invaded. The attrition Russia is suffering says it all.

Where is the Putin-loving individual who created this bone-headed thread.... @VySky ?

I was asking this question well over a year ago

But no, peace talks are so yesterday was the common retort here.

The Paris Peace talks did not set any type of precedent.

So now, the chickens are coming home to roost.

As the old man used to say;

Every decision has a consequence.

"The goal is to maximize positive consequences vs negative ones"

Biden would be wise to follow such sage advice and end his proxy war now.

If not, keep that cost plus contract with ACME body bags R us.

I just gotta say this one more time...

🤣🤣🤣🤣

The opponent it invaded,...who according to you is far, far stronger than Russia....yet can’t seem to beat the Russians.

Specify precisely where I stated Ukraine was "far stronger" than Russia?

((((Yawn))))))). Window dressing

And with Germany freezing future funding to Ukraine you can bet other countries will start doing the same

Ukraine must decide how its Russian incursion ends — advance further or retreat before it’s too late

  • Moscow has yet to mount a robust response to the incursion but warned of a ‘worthy’ retaliation.
  • Analysts say Ukraine must decide whether to reinforce troops and try to hold, or advance, its incursion, or to withdraw before Russia mounts what’s likely to be a furious and deadly response.
A grim-faced President Vladimir Putin has vowed a “worthy” retaliation to what he initially described as a “large-scale provocation.” But the gains in the southwestern region of Kursk have seemingly stunned Russia’s military command, which has yet to mount a robust response to the incursion.

Geopolitical and defense analysts warn that a response will come, and while Kyiv can bask in the success of its cross-border operation for now, it does need to have a plan as to what happens next.

Whether Ukraine chooses to consolidate its territorial gains in Kursk, reinforce its troops and continue its advances — or to withdraw its forces while the going is still good in order to preserve lives, and ahead of what might be a furious Russian response — a decision will need to come quickly.

There is nothing at all in your links above about "Germany freeziing future funding to Ukraine".

Another pro-Russia lie by you. Meanwhile comrade, UKR occupies 1000+ sq km of your precious Russia.

This thread is yet another bucket-of-fail by you.

Why do you expect a link for Germany telling Ukraine to FO? Look it up yourself.

You stated it in Post #810.....

And with Germany freezing future funding to Ukraine you can bet other countries will start doing the same

Now back up your statement above with credible links. And no ZeroHedge garbage.

Ukraine would have to be far stronger for even half of your claims to actually be true.
Specify where I stated Ukraine was "far stronger" than Russia? Otherwise your statement is a lie!

Russia Is About To Overrun Ukraine’s Defenses – Why Are There No Peace Negotiations?

Ask Ukraine. Russia offered a peace solution right after this started. Ukraine refused.

You will find getting Tigerace117 to back up his misrepresentation of what you post to be an impossibility.*

I doubt there is enough intellectual honesty to address my challenge. More like mere deflections and baseless assertions.

If your claims about Russian incompetence were actually true, Ukraine would have to, by definition, be far stronger than Russia.

You not liking that fact doesn’t change it.
Specify where I stated Ukraine was "far stronger" than Russia? Otherwise your statement is a lie! Or your interpretation is from a position of ignorance. Which is it?

Oh, so now you are backpedaling from your claims of Russian incompetence I see.

Too funny.

No you're dishonestly deflecting from the challenge: Specify where I stated Ukraine was "far stronger" than Russia!

Ask Ukraine. Russia offered a peace solution right after this started. Ukraine refused.

The more accurate version is "Russia offered nonsensical terms that Ukraine would have been foolish to accept".

Note the deflection and dishonesty.

No, what’s “dishonest” is making all those claims about “Russian incompetence” and then backpedaling wildly when forced to confront the reality that those, if true, would mean Ukraine is far stronger than Russia.

Note the deflection and dishonesty.

I’ve certainly noted the dishonesty in your claims, yes.

But then again, that’s not at all surprising given your notable lack of ideological consistency, as shown by your efforts to defend Israel’s actions in Gaza.
