This is the result of hitching your wagon to a rabid horse running into a burning stable.

On Monday, The New York TimesMaggie Haberman reported that while Trump has amassed a huge war chest (in part by scamming his supporters), Giuliani’s financial picture has become extremely grim (which probably shouldn’t come as a surprise given his friends have taken to crowdfunding money for his legal defense)

In another humiliation for Rudy it seems that Trump is not taking his calls.

Link.

Will he flip is the question.

Mr. Rudolph Giuliani has, as far as I can determine, been a dedicated member of Mr. Donald Trump's supporters. Mr. Trump, it is said, values loyalty. Perhaps he will use some of the $100M he has raised to help Mr. Giuliani defray lawyer's fees. Unfortunately, there isn't enough in the fund to handle the claim of $1.3B in a law suit against Mr. Giuliani now pending.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

Trump values loyalty only when it will benefit him. Rudy can do nothing for Trump these days and his recent attempts to help buttress the 'stolen election' rhetoric have been met with mocking derision. Trump won't give him a penny from the 100m.

Rudy and Trump is more about water seeking its level than Rudy hitching anything. This is delicious and I am thrilled it’s happening to him. Hopefully he winds up in prison, completely broke, and spends the rest of his miserable life in torment.

Yea, but tell us how you really feel. :)

Hi, Allen!

You are most probably right. It has been sad to see Mr. Giuliani, who left New York as a mayor who accomplished some good, hitch his wagon to the engine of a demagogue. The photo of him, with hair dye streaming down the side of his face, has become iconic. He must, by this time, realize what he has done. There's no way back.

Regards, stay safe 'n well.

Rudy is a master at avoiding accountability. It's someone else's fault, always. Incarceration must scare the shit out of him. Former prosecutors are not well received in prison culture. I'm betting he pivots from blaming Democrats to aiming his ire at Trump, for at least failing to help him out.

Here is more information on all of this, starting with Trump praising Rudi and the bashing him...........................as is so often the case with Trump's loyalty to those that have helped him but then got into trouble

What’s worse: getting taken by Trump or answering one of those Nigerian Prince emails from back in the day? Same age group, I’m thinking.

Glad to hear that Mr. G.'s friends are helping to raise funds for his defense.

I hope that older New Yorkers will also contribute, as a way to thank Mr. G. for stopping the orgy of violence in New York City.

He (along with Bernard Goetz) will be remembered as two of the greatest New Yorkers.

Rudy had a job to do, and he failed. For Trump, that's the end of the story.

Trump has a history of throwing friends and cohorts under the bus when he's done with them.

That's why it is so fascinating seeing smart, successful people now still latch onto him expecting different results when Trump is done with them...

What's the definition for insanity? lol

There is at least one thing trump values over loyalty, money, he will not contribute a nickel to Rudy's legal fund.

Watching Giuliani's spectacular fall from grace is microcosm of what it takes to be a Trump follower, willingness to give up everything to support Trump's pathological lying, subscription to conspiracy theory, and propensity to use power and influence for entirely self-serving dubious intentions.

When it comes to using another human being to their detriment in just about every way imaginable, Trump seems to have written the book.

Trump is worse.
99% of the time people who fall for the Nigerian Prince scam realize they've been snookered and don't do it again.
When people get scammed by Trump, they laugh, load up their bank account and let Trump scam them again, and again.

Crime in NYC has declined since Rudy was mayor.

Trump never pays his lawyers. He likes loyalty, but he doesn't pay for it.

Rudy's ex-wives are in mourning for the demise of Rudy's bank account.

As usual it's all about Trump, he is distancing himself from Rudy who is now a liability. Trump demands something he does not return..... loyalty. Take note McCarthy, Jordan and others. One misstep and you are next, your political careers are in his hands and you willingly put them there!

If only the wagon was hauling graham crackers, Hershey chocolate, and marshmallows. We could be singing kumbayah.

Crime was actually already in decline when Giuliani was elected. And it was going down in other cities as well.

Another person with bus treads all over them from Trump throwing them under...
