I guess the kneeling business, is not good for business. I guess the old saying that "money talks and bull**** walks" holds true. Looks like Kaepernick won't be getting a football job.NFL commissioner Roger Goodell on Tuesday wrote a letter to all 32 league owners regarding the protests that have taken place during the national anthem, ESPN’s Adam Schefter reported.
In the letter, which Schefter shared on his Facebook page, Goodell wrote that the “current dispute over the National Anthem is threatening to erode the unifying power of our game, and is now dividing us, and our players, from many fans across the country.”
If I had a dollar for every **** that I give about this kneeling issue, I'd be broke.
White conservatives are snowflakes, you can’t really blame them for being triggered by all this.
Ah yes, "triggered", meaning "disagrees with me and says so".
Now the other side gets to boycott the NFL
It didn’t matter how these players chose to protest, Fox News level conservatives would have shot them down anyway.
They risked their entire careers to say what they had to say and made America notice, that’s more than most of their detractors have ever risked for what they believe.
And all the while much of white conservative America would rather attack them at face value than understand why they’re doing what they do.
Piggy socks?
Nobody is obligated to support any protest, though. Some "triggered" liberals seem to think the protesting players are owed something. I bet there are a number of veterans and police officers that have risked some things, too that do not support this. This time you agree with it but would you feel the same if they were protesting abortion or gun control?

Funny. It seems to me that the ones complaining about 'They shouldn't knee, that offends me' to a large extent are the anti-pc crowd. That's ironic.

Oh, triggers have been pulled, and buttons pushed, but they've been over there, not here on the left.

Is it that much to ask to show respect for people that put their lives on the line for this country?
Do these football players have this much disdain for people that serve and this country they want to side with groups like ISIS?
That goes both ways.
You gonna tell me if Tim Tebow took a knee during the anthem because of the “senseless slaughter of babies” you would react the same way as you have to these men?
Not just for these players, but people of any background who brings up the issues these people are bringing up, white conservative America largely says “shut up”.
They don’t want to know, they don’t want to understand and so it doesn’t matter how these guys chose to protest, they weren’t going to get anywhere with White conservative America anyway, but history will ultimately look more kindly on them than their detractors.
It's respecting those people to exercise the rights they supposedly fought and died for.

Respect the people who are on the frontline keeping us safe.
IMO kneeling is extremely disrespectful and symbolically un-American.
It really shows reverence to groups like ISIS who forces their victims to kneel before they chope their heads off.
