I hate to break it to you but nobody in the US gives seventeen year olds police training. Most states have a minimum age requirement of 21. Wisconsin’s minimum age is 18. Illinois’ is 20.

There are minimum age requirements, and some agencies have maximum age requirements. Find out if you are too old or too young to go into law enforcement.
