Damn, what a great comedic talent, she suffered with MS for many years.

Young Frankenstein and Mr. Mom are what I remember her best from. RIP

Just did a quick Google - Mel Brooks and Gene Hackman are now the only members of Young Frankenstein production still living.

"What knockers"
"Oh, thank you Doctor"
Her and Madeline Kahn. Both incredibly funny. We missed out on a lot of wonderful times with Madeline dying too soon a Terri's career being shortened by sickness.

I remember once on David Letterman's show, he did it all from his office, and he talked her into taking a shower on air.

I heard her on a podcast a few years back, she was still funny, but the MS made her speech difficult.

Always loved her work. RIP Teri

And close encounters and After hours... . Beautiful, accomplished actress.
Sad.
RIP Teri
After Hours is a classic. Such a weird, fevered movie, she was great in that, so was Catherine O'Hara.

And I loved her in Tootsie, too.

To live with MS to the age of 79, while having a good life overall, should be considered quite an accomplishment.
I had a friend with it, he drowned in his pool, he was cleaning it, in his wheelchair, and fell in, no one was home. Tragic.

Ah, Sweet Mystery of Life at last I've found you
Another great thing about Mel Brooks - shown in that film - is how he can’t pass up any potential laugh.

“Werewolf.”
“There, there wolf.”

I also remember the poster for Blazing Saddles. MGM’s motto on its seal is “ars gratia artis,” Latin for “art for the sake of art.” Brooks or someone changed it to “ars gratia pecuniae,” which means “art for the sake of money,” if my Catholic school Latin serves.
