The best thing to do with unreasonable people like this is just to ignore them. Walk right on past. Let her stay there for days if she chooses to. Hope she has a strong bladder :lol:
 
I've said it before, but it apparently still needs to be said.

Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook are privileges, not rights. Much like this site, there are rules that they have in place, which they can and will enforce at their own discretion. That's because their website is private property, just like your home is, and just like in your home they are free to kick out PITA or rude guests for any reason.

Those are THEIR constitutional rights . Your rights end where there's begin.

Don't like it? Go build your own forum and you can police it however you want.

The better meeting spot owners dont demand to control the conversations that take place with-in, they restrain themselves, out of a sense of civility and humility.......decency.

She's another copycat that was planning on getting arrested, spending no more than six hours in jail, and getting released into a lifetime supply of martyrdom and celebrity status for it.

I, for one, applaud Twitter for seeing through the scheme, and just letting her look crazy.

I hope that the scenario plays out like this:

1) She lost the keys to her handcuffs.

2) Nobody helps her to get free.

3) She has to go to the bathroom.

4) She calls 911.

5) 911 tells her "Too bad, we only help in life-threatening emergencies".

6) She becomes a public attraction.

7) The entrance to Twitter is renamed "The Twitter Zoo".

One candle in the menorah for each of the above-mentioned points. Happy Hanukkah.
 

Anyone on Twitter or any other of the social media options that behaves with ANY "sense of civility and humility.......decency" has nothing to worry about - no one who behaved like an adult with the smallest thread of common courtesy has been banned from those sites.

Besides, our Benevolent Dictator Mod team on DP explicitly demands to control the conversations on here and I think they're great owners, and the mods improve the place. Do you disagree - think it would improve DP if we allowed uncensored personal attacks, for example?

No, she gave up after a few hours. She lost or threw away the key, so the NYPD had to cut her handcuffs off with bolt cutters. Should have been a comedy sketch. I think she wanted to be a martyr, but instead people mostly just pointed and laughed, which is the right thing to do with an idiot like that.

She had the cops cut her loose just a few hours later. She didn't even last till 7 pm.

She probably had to go pee.

The folks at Twitter did the smart thing and didn't make a spectacle out of the whole thing. Want to chain yourself to the door? Sure, go for it.
 
Never heard of this person before you brought her up. Must be someone significant and representative of the right, just as Waters represents everyone on the left.
 


In regards to her silly tweet, she could have walked or taken the subway if she was that bothered by Muslim cab drivers. What a dolt.
