I wish there were more Libertarian candidates in my area. Mostly I vote for the least objectionable candidate. There is no one that shares 100% of my views. What are your voting patterns like? Do you vote Libertarian or, GOP? Please estimate the closest selection.
If you vote for the GOP more than the Libertarian Party - why? The Libertarian Party will never grow if you continue to do that.
To answer the inverse of this question as a left libertarian, I vote Dem 100% of the time at this point just because at least they believe in the concept of Democracy and civil rights.

The sad truth about voting for an obviously non-viable third party candidate is that it takes a potential vote away from one viable major party candidate, thus giving an advantage to the other.
Yeah, I used to vote Green until 2 things happened:
A. Bernie Sanders convinced me the Dems had some life in them.
B. I voted Green in the 2016 election. And then Trump happened and I decided never again.
It is unfortunately just necessary to vote Democrat. Where I think some people in the left get caught up is either believing both parties are somehow the same or that anything is gained by not voting or voting third party. Voting for Biden in the general doesn't make anyone "less socialist", it just means you understand the relatively better positions the Democrats have to the alternative. What is your option in this country anyway? Green voting?
I voted Green in every election until Bernie Sanders.
But, now I just identify as Democrat I reckon.
I’ve become everything I despised.
My views have gotten more socialist. But, my voting has got more conservative. This country is truly ****ed for people like me
One of my best friends told me he was Libertarian and part of that showed when he rolled his eyes at my views on abortion. That, alone, was enough to tell me that even that mindset deviates too much from what's morally right. What are your voting patterns like? Do you vote Libertarian or, GOP? The conservative libertarian wing of the GOP was obliterated by Trump, who simply refuses to accept people in his party that talk negatively of him.The demorat candidates are becoming much closer to being Progressive than the republicant candidates are to being Libertarian. Both major political parties, despite their other differences, are for increasing the power and expense of the federal government.
You need to earn my vote. If a major party candidate wants my vote they need to be less of a jackass. The last major party candidate I voted for in the presidential election was Obama in 2008.The sad truth about voting for an obviously non-viable third party candidate is that it takes a potential vote away from one viable major party candidate, thus giving an advantage to the other.
I voted Libertarian when I first got out if college. It made sense to me.What are your voting patterns like? Do you vote Libertarian or, GOP? Please estimate the closest selection.

Really??? I've seen no evidence that Dems are anything but fascist, race baiting , authoritarian creeps who hate this country and its people and do there best to pit one group against another for political gain.To answer the inverse of this question as a left libertarian, I vote Dem 100% of the time at this point just because at least they believe in the concept of Democracy and civil rights.

You are correct , but to change the political landscape, give yourself more options and more democracy, you need to start voting where it counts, voting for independent candidates in local elections and in elections for senators. And your independent or alternative parties needs to be more active and focused in putting up viable candidates for those elections. The sad truth about voting for an obviously non-viable third party candidate is that it takes a potential vote away from one viable major party candidate, thus giving an advantage to the other.
Oh i know, its hilarious to imagine Nancy Pelosi being even a leninist, i wonder if Michael Brooks was still alive he would do a Leninist Harry Reed impression like his right wing Mandela impression. If the Democrats were “fascists” Donald Trump would not be alive right now

The LP is the 3rd largest party in the US.Does the Libertarian party have even a sliver of hope in the polls?
What's the best result they ever had?
They are called Liberaltarians. To answer the inverse of this question as a left libertarian, I vote Dem 100% of the time at this point just because at least they believe in the concept of Democracy and civil rights.
