Retailers Track Employee Thefts in Vast Databases

I think this this should be illegal."Alledged thefts" or "accused of" don't mean someone actually stole anything or was convicted of theft. If an employee did steal from a company then that person should be charged and found guilty in a criminal court before a company can have on someone's permant record that they stole something. Accusations shouldn't ruin someone's chance of getting employment. Although personally I think companies spying and tracking people is just as wrong as the government doing.

people should have free access to all of the data on them. my record is clean as a whistle and i've not been accused of anything more serious than a speeding ticket, but i'd like to see what's in there. i had to submit to a complete consumer history report to work a lab job, and i have no idea what's in that report. honestly, i can only speculate about what "complete consumer history report" even means.
