Restaurants with international cooking - which ones do you like?

Thai, Vietnamese, Ethiopian, Indian, Goan, Native American, Mexican, Central American, Brazilian, Japanese, Lao, Korean, West African, Cajun, English, Cantonese, Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Halal, etc

You left out so many options......Croatian? Really?

What a lame poll. Just for Mexican alone we have the variants: Sonoran, Central, Southern, Mariscos, Tex-Mex, New Mexico Style, Gabacho style, Caribbean....

I grew up in a neighborhood with a row of "Bohemian" restaurants: Czech, Polish, Hungarian, German, even Russian. Man, those were the good old days.

All.

Its not an option. Poll thread is fail.

There are a few places like that in PHX, even a Bosnian place. We have a few Sudanese places near me too.

Oh my God.

You didn't include Mexican, the most popular international cuisine in the US
Except that what passes for Mexican food here isn’t the same as what can be had there.....

5 say Italian :)

OMG!

I did not include lots of names!

But I included "others".

So I included ALL!

You do not know how polls work here. :)

Btw: It used to be that only 10 options are possible.
Are there now more options possible in the new system?
Just a question.

I live in Northern CA. And the Mexican food here is excellent. Just like in Mexico. We have a huge population of Mexican immigrants. What you are saying is simply not true here.

What you are saying is far more true of Italian and Chinese food.

Weird that you didn't include by name the most popular international cuisine in the USA.

Austrian-Hungarian cuisine might include all this. :) (y)

Italian
Chinese
Greek

.... have all 6 votes each.

A good choice! :)

I have even had excellent Mexican food in Germany.

Plus Mexican, Polish, Salvadorian, Indian, Japanese, Korean, etc..... basically I like most anything.
You forgot North-West-Brazilian cooking and South-West Ethiopian Cooking and North-Norwegian cooking and South-South-African cooking ....
and above all: Inner-Mongolian cooking!

:)

For the fans of Mexican restaurants I have 2 messages:

a) you may choose "Spanish". It is not the same, but better than nothing.
b) you may create a poll with 10 options, all saying: "Mexican".

----------------

And as I said: The option "others" includes Mexican food. :)

Right, but weird to have a poll of favorite international cuisines that doesn't list by name the single most popular one.

No, that is not an excuse.

Your poll sucked.

No, Spanish is not the same as Mexican. Not even close.

Mole is not paella.

Just admit that you had not enough choices, and the ones you put up sucked.

5 out of 9 say:

Spanish

And I love paella.

Btw: I prefer Canadian food to anything Mexican! :)

CANADIAN BUTTERMILK PANCAKES WITH MAPLE SYRUP

Canada is where this profoundly unique syrup made from the sap of maple trees is made, and these are the pancakes that a certain Madame Lafond made for me when I was in Quebec; delightfully easy but tasting so light and fluffy.
