Let's put this more generally. How should a president in one party treat Americans who are in the other party? Pick one:
1. He should try to loyally serve them, and try to advance their interests - their safety, prosperity, health, well-being, freedoms, even if there are policies and ways of doing that he does differently than they agree. He should follow the idea that he is every American's president.
2. He should view them as his enemies - they didn't vote for him. It's ok to do everything he can against them, just to hurt them. Avoid providing disaster relief. Try to prevent them voting. Try to take as much money from them, and give to your party's states, as possible. Send unmarked federal police forces to their cities to terrorize them. Anything.
Note: All of the things in #2, trump has done. We have his answer. What is yours?
