Let's put this more generally. How should a president in one party treat Americans who are in the other party? Pick one:

1. He should try to loyally serve them, and try to advance their interests - their safety, prosperity, health, well-being, freedoms, even if there are policies and ways of doing that he does differently than they agree. He should follow the idea that he is every American's president.

2. He should view them as his enemies - they didn't vote for him. It's ok to do everything he can against them, just to hurt them. Avoid providing disaster relief. Try to prevent them voting. Try to take as much money from them, and give to your party's states, as possible. Send unmarked federal police forces to their cities to terrorize them. Anything.

Note: All of the things in #2, trump has done. We have his answer. What is yours?

They can come along for the ride, but they have to sit in the back.

So present your proof because your words are biased and full of BS.

He should accord them all the respect and courtesy they've accorded him over the past four years. And adjust on a continual basis.

A Republican President as well as Congressional majority should do the following:

1. Do unto others as you would have them do unto you. Treat Democrats in a manner you would wish to be treated if they were in power.

2. Do not do unto others as you would not have them do unto you. Do not treat Democrats in a manner you would find despicable if they were in power and doing the same things to you.

3. Feel free to keep pointing out the failed policies, as well as the lies, half-truths, exaggerations and hypocrisy shown by Democratic politicians, interlocutors and their supporters in print and visual media while keeping Rules 1 and 2 in mind.
