Matt Gaetz said, "some of the people who breached the Capitol today were not Trump supporters, they were masquerading as Trump supporters and in fact were members of the violent terrorist group antifa."
Eric Trump “liked” a tweet from the Trump ally Mark Burns declaring one of the people who stormed Congress “NOT a Trump supporter,” but rather, an antifa supporter. In fact, the person was Jake Angeli, known as QAnon Shaman. Angeli often appears in the unique outfit he wore Wednesday.
Brit Hume tweeted: "Do not be surprised if we learn in the days ahead that the Trump rioters were infiltrated by leftist extremists. Note: this is not to excuse any of them."
Former Alaska governor and Republican vice presidential nominee Sarah Palin, speaking on the network Wednesday night, said “I think a lot of it is the antifa folks.” Palin lamented the fact that Americans don’t trust the media to identify the perpetrators of the siege. “A lot of it is the media’s fault,” Palin said.

This is the problem. The political right is largely insane.

Gaetz is the dumbest of the lizard people.
Gaetz is the Rand Paul of Charlie Kirks.
Gaetz is what happens when people who fail sobriety tests and dont go to jail, start thinking that their bail money makes them smarter.

Other than that, he seems okay.

Makes total sense that Trump would tell Antifa that he loves them for protesting Trump's election loss.

That's just regular everyday stuff.
Why would anyone doubt that happened?

The Qanon traitor MTG is now live on C-Span.

What else are they going to do, face reality? Trump supporters? Did anyone actually expect them to own up to their own treason instead of doubling down on conspiracy theories?

Yes, that one is apparantly being passed back and forth in the right wing media sewer.

It started even before the mob left the Capitol Building.

They saw the wages of their sins. As Trumpsters have repeatedly done, as their movement has shattered new norms in its race to the bottom, they manufactured an excuse to blame others.

And their all bobbing their heads over it.

Could have been oompa loompas for all I care..

Trump and his traitors invited and incited "them".

The unfortunate conclusion that results in people believing such a blatant lie such as Gaetz is peddling is that they will not learn from yesterday's events. Many of these people are going to end up in a situation where, after failing to choose reason and truth as their guide, will put themselves in a situation where they will run afoul of law enforcement doing something just as stupid as what happened yesterday.

They are choosing a dark path and I pray that as many as possible turn from it and choose to rejoin society.

Palin won't have to worry about the media identifying anybody. We will have a very capable DOJ who will take care of all that. Many of these domestic terrorists are going to need to leave the country. The feds are coming for them. They have a gazillion video shots of many faces.

25th amendment immediately, as in today.

There are Trumpians on this very forum pushing that same story on here. They have no connection to reality at all

From the little bit I've heard about this, the folks that were actually inside the Capital building were on video. It shouldn't that hard to track them down.

On the bright side of things, they didn't steal any money from the Treasury, so in that way, we got a little bit of a break compared to the folks who are usually there. ;)

Do you know the folks who were doing these things inside the Capital Building?

Is mostly peaceful protest not a thing that has gained approval over the last year?

it was the most extreme element of Tweetycult. it's all on video.

Is mostly peaceful protest not a thing that has gained approval over the last year?

This wasn’t a protest. This was a terrorist attack.

What else are they going to do, face reality? Trump supporters? Did anyone actually expect them to own up to their own treason instead of doubling down on conspiracy theories?

Is mostly peaceful protest now being called treason?

I thought mostly peaceful protest was a blessed event as described over the last several months.

What's changed?
