Republican Voters Against Trump

You can view the testimonies from GOPers who have finally had enough of Trump, from 45 states (plus D.C.):

Barring another successful intervention campaign from his friends in Russia, Trump will lose in historic fashion. And America and the entire western world will celebrate.

But I fully anticipate that Trump will claim "rigged election" and refuse to leave the White House voluntarily.

Leftwing activists working overtime putting up these phony 'testimonials'. Why don't they put out ads for folks who didn't vote Trump in 2016 who damn well sure will THIS time.

If Trump was winning people over it would be reflected in the polls. Trump has two things going against him this time around: 1. A horrible record to defend and 2. No Hillary Clinton.

Now that Biden seems to have gotten the right balance of his meds in order (at least for now) he is doing well enough to be looking at campaigning in Texas.

The fact that Texas is even considered to be in play, speaks volumes.

Are you seriously asking "Why don't people that oppose trump makes ads for Trump?"

Just saw a comment on Twitter: “When a Republican President is on the other side of a cultural divide from NASCAR & Walmart, maybe some reflection is in order.”

Delusional, irrational Trump acolytes never EVER fail to come through with some kind of bat-dung-crazy conspiracy theory.

Why don't they put out ads for folks who didn't vote Trump in 2016 who damn well sure will THIS time.

There aren't any.

Next question.

What they say now doesn’t matter. What they actually do in November does.

Great idea for your side. Why do you suppose it's not happening? My guess is that there aren't any. And if they try to use "crisis actors" they'll be exposed in a skinny second. Sucks to be for Trump.

Trump is a loser, and every time he loses he cries foul, he blames everyone else for his failures in life. He's a selfish bastard with no brain and no soul. I am glad to see so many Republicans with character and conscience distancing themselves from the Traitor In Chief. Nobody listens to Trump anymore, except his brainwashed cult....I don't give a damn if he whines about losing, that scumbag is always playing the victim anyway.

Funny how Trump and his worshipers say that anything which exposes his failures and corruption is fake or phony. I believe Trump and his supporters are the fake and phony ones, afraid of the truth, afraid of exposure....weak and afraid.

How could anyone NOT be super jazzed about Biden?

We know you're not. The citizens of Trump Fan Nation worship the reality TV game show host.

I'm joining the crowd too smart to put Trump back in office.

I wonder about this. Remember all the hullabaloo about the Never Trumpers back in 2016, well 88% of Republicans voted for Trump, 89% of Democrats for Hillary. According to the latest YouGov poll, question 59, 88% of Republicans plan on voting for Trump, the same as in 2016. 91% of Democrats plan on voting for Biden, up 2 from 2016. With an MOE of plus or minus 3 points, we're basically looking at the same percentage of Republicans and Democrats voting for their candidate as they did in 2016.

https://docs.cdn.yougov.com/hpupr0zhkl/econTabReport.pdf

If one keeps track of these things, it's the independents where the big change has taken place. Remember back in 2016 46% of independents voted for Trump, 42 for Hillary Clinton, 12% voted for third party candidates, against both Trump and Clinton.

https://www.cnn.com/election/2016/results/exit-polls

Then we began to see independents changing their voting habits in 2018, no Hillary on the ballot to save Trump. Independents voted for the Democratic Congressional candidates 54-42 over the GOP congressional candidates. A swing of plus 12 from Hillary's 42 and a minus 4 from Trump's 46. A total swing of 16 points in the Democrats favor.

Exit Polls 2018

Today, according to the YouGov poll of 14 July 2020, 44% of independents plan on voting for Biden, 35% for Trump, 10% for other or third party candidates with the remaining undecided, not sure. That's a swing of 13 points in Biden's, the democrat's favor from 2016. This is where your difference is, independents. Not with Republicans. Forget your Republican Never Trumpers and forget these Republican voters against Trump. Neither amount to a hill of beans outside of sounding good on political sites like this one.

Pay attention to independents. Independents gave Trump the White House, independents seem set on getting him out. At least as of the moment. independents gave Trump his razor thin win in Wisconsin by voting for him 50-40 over Hillary, in Pennsylvania by going for Trump 48-41 and in Michigan, 52-35 over Hillary. All lead to Trump winning those states by a few thousand votes.

Remember as of today, independents make up 40% of the electorate. What percentage did Never Trumpers or Republicans against Trump make up? Maybe 1 percent, 2 percent, maybe? Democrats today make up 31% of the electorate, Republicans 25%. Those numbers alone are enough to show one and all that paying attention to independents is much more important than paying attention to Republicans and Democrats let alone Never Trumpers and Republicans against Trump. They'll decide nothing, ah, but independents, they'll decide the winner.

No left winger would ever knowingly vote for a republican who the vast majority of the time is going to enact laws they disprove of and appoint justices who are the vast majority of the time going to uphold that legislation they don't approve of. So these people claiming to be republicans and voting for Biden are liars or phonies they never believed their party's ideology. Because actual republicans tend to find any liberal legislation and justice appointees to be way more harmful than any "bad apple" in their party. And actual democrats tend to find any conservative legislation and justice appointees to be way more harmful than any bad apple in their party.

Funny how you seem to be pushing the who trump/russia collusion hoax while at the same time claiming Trump is going to claim the election was rigged.

How could anyone NOT be super jazzed about Biden?

I'm jazzed about looking forward to one scandal per year instead of one scandal every six hours.

Yes, I'm perfectly aware that Fox News will manufacture a scandal every three hours. They don't count.

"Liars". "Phonies".

"Actual Republicans"?

The fallacy in your argument seems pretty clear. You are certainly entitled to believe whatever you wish to believe, but right wing extremists don't get to decide who is, or is not, an "actual" Republican. But you're an ideologue, so you don't understand that.

Funny how you seem to be pushing the who trump/russia collusion hoax while at the same time claiming Trump is going to claim the election was rigged.

So I guess now we can add to you the label of "Conspiracy Theorist", too, I see.

Obviously, you never read the "actual" Mueller Report. If you had, you'd know better than to STILL be spewing ignorance about "collusion hoaxes".

The funny part is that you seem to believe you just posted some sort of "Trump" card argument, or something...rather than an ignorant argument. :lamo

There are lots of them.

Mashmont with another baseless lie that he (and EVERYONE else) knows he cannot even begin to back up.

Must be another day ending in "y", I guess.

Dogbreath said there were none. Did you comment on his inability to back that statement up?

It's nice to see this being organized. I've long thought it was a good tactic. It worked pretty well for Reagan when he did his 'Reagan Democrats' messaging, making himself look like a bi-partisan centrist instead of the radical right-winger on economics that he was.

That's largely what winning the presidency is about, who gets the 'middle' vote. Campaigns like this help get it.

I don't think he can refuse to leave, but I believe that trump will do everything he can to invalidate the election results if he loses and attempt to burn the country down from Nov - Jan.

There aren't any.

To be fair, I think there's Bill, and Rob. I think that's the whole list of Americans who didn't vote for trump in 2016 and will in 2020. Millions the other way around.
